Looking for a top-notch hamper for Xmas for gourmet food lovers. Suggestions? Something other than Fortnums or Harrods -bit more eclectic. I'm ordering from the US as well so web-based essential.

Baxters foods in Scotland do xmas hampers made up of traditional Scottish foods all sourced in Scotland, lots of different types of food you wouldnt be able to get in USA. Not sure what the website is but type in the name of the company and Scotland and you'll find it.

If it's for delivery in the UK, check out johnlewis.com. I ordered one for my Ma this year, and it was great - several to choose from

Why don't you make your own then you can choose all sorts of luxury items to put in and you don't get all the items that nobody eats.
