Food & Drink - 23 November 2006

Hi all!
I have some spring roll pastry, but was wondering if anyone had any ideas other than the traditional filling? ( ie cabbage, carrots, etc ). Or other than the vietnamese filling?
I once knew a lady who put some tuna mixture in them.
Any ideas for what to stuff in there?

The cafe bar i have in mind serve basic food (steak,fish.chicken etc) but with a twist of my own idea also new dish will be created every month.Food creativeness,good taste and low price is the seling point of this cafe.

I only smoked pot twice. A fellow who lived upstairs from me
bought 2 ounces every payday. One went into his electric coffe
grinder came out like power for his bongs. The other he rolled. While at a bar playing pool we took a break, shared a joint. Even
though two blocks from home, it felt like it took two days to get
back home. I took purple microdot(a small pill that looked like
an aspirin, but purple once) It felt like someone plugged me into a wall scokett for 12 hrs. From then on I stuck to jack daniels for a buzz.

Since I live in my house with 3 other people who go to sleep way earlier than me, I'm usually awake a few hours later than them. I get hungry around the midnight hours, but I have to be quiet. What can I make for a snack that won't make a lot of noise (such as loud microwaves...) ?

Hi. I love cooking alot and was searching for a Malay type of kuei by the name of Kueh Lapis... Its not the colourful type, but the brown colour type. It was sold for about SGD$30+ per kgs. but not all are nice. Anyone have the recipe for it?

I was with my mother when she popped open a bag of potatoes. She pulls out a heart shaped one. It's pretty neat looking. She wants me to sell it on Ebay. I just dont know about that. She really, really wants me to though. I feel silly about it. She would never sell ite because shes not a computer kinda person. I dont even know what I could sell it for, and I would feel weird trying to get someone to buy and pay shipping for a freakin potato!!!! What would you do...?

I am talking about the food additive MSG, not a abbviation for message.
I love foods with MSG in them but they often make me sick is there anything that I can do about this???

I love RAMEN noodles and Chinese Buffets any suggestions would be helpful.
