Its not such a daft question as some people think.
I also have shares in a uk company ,Mitchells and butlers ,and Inter continental.I rang them both and was told i could not sell them through them because i lived in Spain,they told me i would have to go through a Spanish bank.because of the potential hassle and cost ,i have decided to leave it awhile.
I would suggest you ring the company you have shares with and see what they suggest,i would be interested to know if its different to what i have told you .Buena suerte¡
