I was with my mother when she popped open a bag of potatoes. She pulls out a heart shaped one. It's pretty neat looking. She wants me to sell it on Ebay. I just dont know about that. She really, really wants me to though. I feel silly about it. She would never sell ite because shes not a computer kinda person. I dont even know what I could sell it for, and I would feel weird trying to get someone to buy and pay shipping for a freakin potato!!!! What would you do...?

I would say go ahead and try it. I mean, why not. What could it hurt and if it would make your mum happy, then go for it. My only concern would be how to keep the potato healthy and not gross over time. I'm not sure how you could store or even ship a potato without it getting nasty. But other than that, it could be fun.

I dont think youd get away with selling it on Ebay unless you had some way of preserving it! but what the heck! I once saw where someone was trying to sell a bad dream! You'l never know unless you try!

The worst that would happen is that nobody would buy it. Everything else is up in the air. Even by Ebay standards, that's pretty bad. Potato chips can get stale and moldy, so I don't know what your mother is thinking.

just go for it, there is always someone that will buy anything from e-bay, heck, last year i saw a sprout sell for £80 ($150).
