Hi. I love cooking alot and was searching for a Malay type of kuei by the name of Kueh Lapis... Its not the colourful type, but the brown colour type. It was sold for about SGD$30+ per kgs. but not all are nice. Anyone have the recipe for it?

i dont have the recipe but i absolutely love this stuff. my grandma like to make it for special occasions which isnt very often. over the summer i was browsing around my asian foods market and found that they sell kueh lapis all vaccuumed packed and boxed up to sell for about $5. it was about teh size of a water bottle. maybe a little bit bigger. and it wanst bad, quite tasty actually.
