Why do they ask questions? They don't give a toss about the answers and it just goes into voting. Ok its an easy 2 points but I for one will not answer their lousy questions anymore!

Why is it's use so controversial?
What does it do to you?
Is it harmfull?

I'm going to start freezing meals again, and one dish my family loves is a chicken rice dish--but I don't know if I freeze the rice if it will become rock hard, or if it will defrost nicely, like noodles do. Anyone know?

I love cherry pie have tried to make one before from scratch, can't seem to get it right, I would like a recipe that I can use a premade crust and the filling to be tart? I LOVE cherry pie, and its sad that I can't make it. Thanks.

Any ideas? I think the Newcastle Beer® part was my own added touch; but the recipe called for brining the turkey overnight before cooking, and adding red wine to it every 1/2 hour or so in the oven. There was rosemary and whole peppercorns, maybe some sage, and a lot of other spices that made it absolutely fabulous. Does anyone have any recipe that's similar--or any idea as to where I can find this recipe again? (I found it on the Internet two years ago, and wrote it down, but alas!--during my move from Boston back to LA, the recipe got lost or thrown out.)

Baked Acorn Squash with Brown Sugar.

I'm serving a multi course dinner on Thanksgiving with a wine pairing for each course. The Baked Acorn squash will be served by itself, before the main course of turkey, etc.

I was thinking of either a Chardonnay or Semillon Chardonnay pairing. Any thoughts / suggestions?

I was shocked when I travelled to the Philippines how bland it is. I was expecting something so flavorful and delicious like Vietnamese or Thai. But everything seems to be like white rice and meat with hardly any flavor at all.
