Why do they ask questions? They don't give a toss about the answers and it just goes into voting. Ok its an easy 2 points but I for one will not answer their lousy questions anymore!

They pay Yahoo for the banner advertising. Like you say, its not about the question, its about the banner.
I won the vote with one of thier questions by asking why Yahoo sold out to a corporation like sainsburys and how i thought it brought into question thier independance.
I bet sainsburys were not too chuffed about me getting the best answer !
I have used it to my advantage though. I wrote to sainsburys corporate asking why they were sponsering such hatemail in Yahoo, pointing to a regular insulter in the veggie and vegan section. Sure enough, thier account was removed the next week.

Don't you think it's a more innovative way to advertise than just sticking an ad on the site?? Its about making their brand recognised by the young market that use this website. So don't answer. How do you know they don't use the answers anyway?

It's ashamed you feel that way about EVERYONE. You are wrong to include me into your analysis. I don't like being lumped into the majority. My glass is half full and it sounds like you have nothing better to do than to piss and moan. Not everyone is out to get the 2 points, some are truly interested in listening to what people are saying and giving their honest opinion. Gosh, are you feeling a bit left out or just selfish.
