Some recipes I've seen call for rum, brandy, vodka...and my thought is that if they're cooked at a high enough temperature (like a baked fruitcake with rum as an ingredient) the alcohol should be well evaporated out of the final product. A friend thinks the mere taste or suggestion of taste could make a recovering alcoholic start craving again. What're your thoughts on this?

My husband saw a what looks like a layer cake made of twinkies in the newspaper but threw it away. Does anyone know any recipe like this. I know it had some kind of cream filling in between the layers of twinkies. I looked on the Hostess site and it had a pumkin layer Twinkie cake but that is not it. Any ideas?

Or just a recipe for a good cream filling that could be used?

I have recently found out that eating and drinking dairy products maybe making my psoriasis and depression worse and I have decided to cut them out, could you suggest some alternatives for me, like cheese and yoghurts, I shop at Tescos and only managed to find 1 cheese that was dairy free, it tasted of cold chips as its made from potato starch, I think because its a lot different from cows milk cheese I need to get used to it. Oh MAN this stuff is sooo good and the darker the chocolate the better for you! So I am now trying to stick to about 70% whenever I buy. Does anyone know of any other 70% or higher dark chocolate that isn't too expensive :)?

I have an office party to go to tonight at an upscale bar/restaurant. I need some good drink suggestions. I like fruity drinks with vodka and/or rum.
