Food & Drink - 16 October 2006

Only to discover I am out of onions. Was planning on making meat loaf, but now I can not. I can't think of a single ground beef recipe using ground beef that does not require onions. I hate powdered onions, so anyone know of a good dinner using ground beef with NO onion (please no powdered onion recipies as i hate that taste) Thanks all!

I have tried getting it wet and applying the salt with a butter knife but it seems to not work all that well. please help

First of all where can you buy it, and I have recipe for a halloween punch to serve at a Halloween Party I'm having in a few weeks and I am suppose to put dry ice in it to make it look all foggy and spooky, but if you aren't suppose to to drink dry ice or touch it then how is this going to work?

I'm cooking a 3 1/2 pound beef roast in a crock pot. I added a can of beef broth and seasoning plus veggies. I am cooking it on high. It has been in there almost 4 hours. It still feels really tough when I stick a fork in it. Does it have a chance at being good? What should I do?

I have been seeing this guy for about 2-3 months. He took me out to the club and his friend paid for all our drinks, and to get in. plus we were double dating so his friend is paying for me, and him plus his date he came with. He pulled this more than once and he has money. I asked him can he take me out somewhere like the beach or something. He tells me everytime his friend take my friend out that is when i want him to take me out which is false. but he claim he like me. now he is telling me he don't like talking to me like that. but he asked me when did i want to go? but he haven't made up a date.
