theres a couple of ways you can go:
-Traditionally, tonic water with a lime best suites the flavor profile
-If you want to try something interesting, crush mint leaves with a squirt of simple syrup (50/50 mix of boiling water and sugar), much like you would with a mojito, but instead of rum, add a good gin like tanquaray 10 or bombay saphirre. Shake with ice and top with a splash of tonic and cranberry. Tasty....

A Flying Dutchman is just Gin and a splash of Triple Sec.

Slice of Lemon,ice,gin then add lots of tonic
Try cranberry juice,ornage juice,bitter lemon to be used if the gin is cheap.
Good gin use the tonic.

try a slow gin fizz -

or gin and tonic
