Do you think George Strait - Heaven is missing an angel is a good Mother/Son song for our wedding. My fiance picked this song, but I think it is more of a song that would be sung to your significant other instead of your mother, what do you think?

Thanks!

I am looking for 40 of these lanterns that I found on e-bay. They are ivory and glass and about 10 inches high. I want to use them for my centerpieces at my wedding but the shipping prices are outrageous. Does anyone know of any stores that would carry these? Here is what they look like: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=005&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&viewitem=&item=150091105040&rd=1&rd=1

I have only been engaged for a couple of days and I am already totally overwhelmed. No one is putting any pressure on my I am totally doing it myself. My problem is that I have no idea how to plan a wedding and I have a very small budget. I want to it to be beautiful and unique, but I don't know how to make this happen. There is no way that I could afford a wedding planner.

What do you do when you ask a friend to be a bridesmaid and they turn you down?? I haven't known her THAT long of a time but I felt that we were getting pretty good friends and basically she is my only friend out here in L.A. other than my fiances family and cousins.. I only have my fiances sister and 2 friends from my home state that may or may not be able to make it. So I could end up with only 2 bridesmaids while my fiance has like 5 groomsmen.. I feel like such a loser!! What can I say to her to get her to possibly reconsider without pushing her into something she totally doesn't want to do ??

She said - "I meant to say that probably i wont have enough time to be a bridesmaid but I will still be there in your wedding, and other things if you need me before the wedding."

I am planning my September 1st wedding and have chosen calla lillies as my main flower. I know that they are expensive in my area and have done some research online. I have found a website that has decent pricing on them but I am leery of placing all my flower faith in an online company. I was wondering if anyone else has ever tried these online flower companies and how they have worked out. The compnay I am currently most interested in is Flowerbud.com. I can get a bulk box of 120 mini callas for $249. Any info would be helpful and much appreciated

Our colors are red, white, and silver. Our wedding will be small with about 50-60 quests. We will be getting married in a small church and the reception will follow in a small hall. We are on a budget and want a feeling of elegence but still keeping it somewhat casual. I'm not sure how to keep the red color feeling light and not like an evening affair.

My fiancee and I are to be wed in a couple of months and we are finalizing out guest list. We are paying for the wedding ourselves and it is quite an expensive ordeal. My question is regarding single people invites. My future mother in law believes that all single people should be invited "and guest". I'm looking at this from a cost perspective and she believes that it is rude if you invite a single person and don't include the guest on their invitation. Being that I know all the single people from both sides of the family and they don't have significant others. What should I do?

Is it required for the grooms father to wear a tuxedo to his sons wedding? Can he wear a suit or dress shirt and tie instead? The father is not an usher in the wedding. The tuxedo would cost over $100 to rent and the father does not have a lot of money to spend.

My sister is getting married in October and her and her fiance planned to use the unity candle ceremony. (two candles lit by the mothers are held together to light one candle by bride and groom) Our mother passed away a few years ago and the woman that my dad will soon be marrying doesn't even like the fact that he has kids. Who do you think would be appropriate to have light the candle in place of my mom?
