Do you think George Strait - Heaven is missing an angel is a good Mother/Son song for our wedding. My fiance picked this song, but I think it is more of a song that would be sung to your significant other instead of your mother, what do you think?

Thanks!

If he picked it, let him have it. It's sweet that he gave it some thought.
Lots of songs are not used as intended...like "I Will Always Love You" is a song about leaving someone. Yet we hear it at weddings.

if country is what he's looking for, try rascal flatts-my wish...its a great song and if you're a country fan im sure you know it. its all about wishing great things for the future and continuing with big dreams and smaller worries...to me its a perfect parent/child song, i'm using it withmy dad, but it can definitely be used for a mother/son song. to me, heavens missing an angel would be a lot better for a couple than a parent/child.

Go to Wedding Music Central. They have all of the songs broken down by where it would be appropriate. They also have a great book "How to Set Your Wedding to Music" It will walk you through the thought process for choreographing your wedding to music.

If thats the song that he wants, the do it! No one is going to be paying attention to the words anyways, so don't look to far into it! If you like the song, then it should do just fine.
