My fiancee and I just decided to get married in about 3 months. I asked my best friend for 10 years to be my Maid of Honor, and another good friend to be my co-maid of honor. I want them both to be a huge part in my day they both mean so much to me, but in different ways. My longest friend, got extremely upset with me, just about hung up on me when I told her about the other one, and I haven't heard from her since (this was about a week ago). Its my day! I can do what I want right? Should I just keep on like nothing is wrong? Should I call her? HELP!!!

I fear that she may accept the boy whom her parents have chosen for her. But before that happens, i want to express my love to her. i feel that she may reject my proposal. somehow i need her. she thinks me as a good friend and even she has shared her ideas about her ex-boy friend with me. she is well aware that i know about her boy friend and her failure in love. please advise

I am getting Married and am unshure how to change my name, I am using just his name for my last name but I was thinking of taking "Toni and Jean" into my first name and making my maiden name my middle name, or should I just leave it traditional?

I have twin 15 yr old step daughters from my 11yr olds father (never married him but were together for 13 yrs) I raised the twins with him sense they were 1yrs. old and I get visitation with them just out of my ex's kind heart (their real mom CALLS once every two years)
anyways, I am now going to marry someone who has a 20yr old daughter and I thought it would be cute to present his daughter and my daughter (11yr old) with half a locket to show their connection to each other, at the cerimony. but the twins are very sensitive to the fact that I'm not thier REAL mom. how can I do this without hurting their feelings? should I not do it?

i'd like my friend to get ordained and marry me and my lady, i want to know if this will be legal and what places are legal to perform these ceremonies. we are not religious and we think the whole married abroad thing has been done to death, so we are looking for something different.

Me and my fiance have had the hardest time planning our wedding. For years I have promised my best friend that she could be my maid of honor when I got married.
However, my fiance has made it very clear that there is no way he could choose just one of his three brothers or friends to be his best man.
He thinks that we shouldn't have bridesmaids or groomsmen at our wedding, because he said that is like picking favorites, and he doesn't want to hurt anyones feeling.
There is no way I could have my dream wedding without bridesmaid or a maid of honor. It is just breaking tradition...
Any suggestions on how we can solve our problem????
