Well this year is my first Christmas with my boyfriend and i dont know what to get him! i never really bought anything for a guy, cuz most of my closest friends are girls so i have no idea. My boyfriend wants me to suprise him too.
Well he's 14 and likes skateboarding and sneakers. Hes crazy and funny and likes rap and rock music. His style is skinny jeans and all different kind of sneakers [dunks, jordans, vans] type. Based on that, what should i get him?
oh and i don't want to spend alot, since i have other more people to buy gifts for.

Almost all of my friends are guys. They are the dorky (but awesome) ones that, once you get to know them, they are great people. A few of them REALLY like me, but I don't like them back, and I don't want to date someone that I don't have feelings for. I guess I am just waiting for Mr. Right even though he probably isn't out there. On the rare occassions that I DO like a guy, they seem to not like me back, probably because I can't be myself around them, like I can around my other friends. I feel so guilty when someone that I DONT like asks me out because I know how they feel. It takes so long to finally build up the courage to TRY to do something about your feelings, and then you get shot down, I feel so awful. What am I suppossed to do? HELP ME!!! Please.

I am not butt ugly, and I have lost alot of weight, I'm still young (21) I'm financially stable (on my own accord not my parents) i have a good degree and working on more, I have a great since of humor and a personality to match (I'm a party planner what better personality is there) and I own a car and a house. Just feels like there is no one out there for me...I'm really all alone...what is the point?

I was really in love and it hurts...he just broke up with me and I miss him terribly. I don't want to be with anyone...I feel too sad...I'm crying all of the time.

My heart is really aching. What is the point of trying? What if I can't find anyone to love me?

My girlfriend of 2 years and I broke up 3 months ago, mainly to get space, but knowing we would get back together. A week after this she wanted to get back, and i did too, but i said we should take some more time to fix what we needed to. she was upset and said she wanted me back. 2 days later she went to see her ex , and after this, she didn't want to get back, saying she needed to be single. over the course of the next month i begged for her back, sent her flowers, did everything i could. she was different, told me she didn't love me and to move on. we were at the same party one night, and i decided to try to move on, so i talked to other girls. one girl was on my arm flirting, and my ex flipped out, screaming at me and calling me an asshole. later she came to my apartment to see if i was sleeping with her (which i wasn't). after this she wanted to hang out again and so we did. the next 2 weeks went well until she told me she had slept with her ex 2 weeks before.

i work with this guy that i really like. I'm with him pretty much every day, and often spend my entire day working closely with him. we talk and joke. he's really cool, and he seems to prefer MY company to that of our other coworkers. he has contacted me outside of work via online social network, and once asked if i'd like to get a bite to eat after work. though he has a ginuine interest in me, im sure its only as a FRIEND and not a potential GF. How can i make him take a second look?

I am just feeling too sad and I have no one to talk to because it's late at night.

I just got dumped. This always hurts, but it hurts more because I am always dumped for the same reason. Because I am not confident.

No matter how much people tell me to believe in myself, that I am pretty, smart, attractive, etc etc, I just don't FEEL confident. And my being insecure with myself always makes other reject me.

I was crazy about my boyfriend...just crazy about him. And he liked me too until I think he decided I wasn't quite right for him...and surprise surprise...he says, "You care too much about other people and should think more about yourself and about making yourself happy." I've heard that one before.

The thing is, being with him made me happy. It's being rejected that hurts. It's hard to feel confident when people don't seem to accept you as you are, flaws and all.

I've been posting a lot tonight b/c I am upset. Thanks for listening...

Like i think this guy is into me, but whenever i'm waiting around and i have something in my hand that i'm studying, he'll just grab it out of my hand and look at if for a bit, then hand it back without saying a word. i think he likes me, but i'm not sure, like i always catch him staring at me, and we used to be friends but now its he's acting like we dont even know each other :(

I see men looking at me and when I smile and make eye contact they look away like a kid caught in a cookie jar. I rarely get asked out and it is usually guys that meet me through friends, I am just wondering why not the guy that stares for five minutes till he catches my eye. I dress sexy but not revealing so it's not like there getting a show or anything. If half the men that looked would say hello I would have more then girls night out and less drunk guys hitting on me and actually have real dates. I know my othere ladies out there know what I am saying. C'mon Men if you like what you see why not say introduce yourselves?

i am a single mother. i very badly want to get married again but i have been having torouble finding a guy with all his screws in place. lots of folks have set me up, they have all had MAJOR issues (like mental illness, temper problems, wild streaks) not the kinds of guys i want raising my daughter with me.
so here's the deal. i have been asked out by a seemigly sweet guy who happens to use a wheelchair due to a spinal chord injury.I said yes. he has an equipped vehichle and drives, he's in colleg getting his degree in accounting, he seems to have a good head on his shoulders. everyone i asked said he is a genius and a generally happy optmistic person.....

but everyone wh has found out that i will be going on a date with him is making a big stinking deal out of it. since they know i am dating for marriage, they tell me about all, the things i would have to put up with as a wife, and i'm selling myself short. Am I? is it weird that the chair doesn't bother me?

I really had developed feelings for him. It was the kind of thing where I just treasured every single thing about him and felt so happy when I was with him.

I am just not a confident person. (My childhood made it hard for me to be confident in myself). I have made progress, but I am a people pleaser. Not a lot of people are attracted to that.

It hurts because I want to be with someone who will value me as I am. I feel so sad. It seems like nothing ever changes. I got my hopes up with this relationship and now I feel so let down. This guy gave me a lot of positive signals and now I feel stupid for believing them.

Maybe I just haven't met "the right person" yet, but why is it that I would feel so strongly about him if it was "wrong"?

I'm currently majoring in human psychology, and these are all wrong.

First of all, those are all wrong. Women like confident guys. If you ask her out, it shows to her that she's in the position of power, as she can reject you. If you compliment her a lot, it shows to her that you are so obssessed with her, that you will do anything for her. Again she knows she's in a position of power.

So let's cover this up: Confidence is the key.

How do you start a conversation? Ask question that have to be answered with more thena simple yes or no, that require more elaboration. That way they can lead to more questions. Think of it as an interview.

Next, you can start teasing, but be sure to include sexual innuendos, because if you don't, she won't know if you're interested in her and you'll be in the friend zone. Also, use lots of touching, AKA kino. This shows to her you like her.

One other thing: don't date middle school or high school freshmen girls. They are very unstable at that age.

There's this guy I'm interested in. He's very busy with his PhD and working tons of overtime. We've emailed back and forth and said he was interested in hanging out in the "near future". He's just finished finals. Should I ask him to dinner?

Hanging out with him before I've noticed he's extremely awkward around women. (Not gay) Friends tell me I'd need to make the first move. He's the type a guy with his nose buried in a book. The couple times we've hung out with friends he seemed interested. I'm really out of practice and not used to asking a guy out.

There's this guy I like & we've talked in class a few times, & he always laughs at my jokes, & if everyone around us is talking, he seems more interested in what I'm saying. But he's really shy, & the only gf he's ever had was NOT the best looking, & everyone I've told says I look a lot better. I told my friend to tell him I liked him, & he let out a forced laugh & said, "why does she like me?" & he said he wouldn't go out with me. Does anyone know why he reacted this way? He wasn't like, turned off by it, but said he wouldn't want to date me. I don't know if I should just give up on him. :/

ok so i created my boyfriend a myspace account and he asked me to put up pictures for him and so i went to go do so and i gound out he changed his password, ok so anygirlfirend is going to automatically assume that their boyfriend is hiding something so that is what i assumed... then he told me he felt sick because he was afraid i was going to get into his email, which i never had the intentions of doing so. I then ask him if he is hiding things on his email and he says yes he is and he just kept on with it when i dropped it.. he posted a question on here and the people on here told him to break up with me so he did so... I dont understand this, i love him so much, what should be done? This happened earlier today and we have somewhat forgiven each other, but the question is, do you think he should give me another chance or not? Tell me the truth!!

I am going to ask a series of questions, and I would appreciate it highly if they were answered very honestly

1. If a guy is trying to flirt with a girl how will he know that he she is flirting back?

Well, i really like this guy. its almost love, i think.... what im havin trouble with, is letting him know. some of u guys are probably like, "Just tell him, idiot." yeah, but its not that simple. I've fallen so deeply with this guy, that rejection from him would KILL me. so, i need another way instead of being just staright-forward. u know? i was thinking about leaving a note or some kind of writing in my friends binder (because sometimes he just would randomly look through my friend binder) so he could see it and stuff..... is that a good idea? or no? any other suggestions than that?
