I'm 17, and I seem to develop crushes on men that are older than me.
From other answers on this website, it seems like that is normal, but I have a twist to put on this question--

It's not just that I develop crushes on older men, but I seem to develop crushes on men that are authority figures in my life.
Right now, I have huge crushes on two of my sports coaches, and one of my teachers.
I try to control myself, but it's so hard not to flirt with them, because they mostly flirt back.

Any ideas on how I can stop myself from flirting or developing crushes on them in the first place?

How would you have answerd when you were half your age, and how do you think you will answer in 20 years?

For me: Now- (oldest) 40 yrs. (youngest) 22 yrs.
Half my age I would have been 14 so...
(oldest) 21 yrs. (youngest) 16 yrs.
In 20 yrs. (I'll be 49) so......
(oldest) 60 yrs. (youngest) 40 yrs.

I was with my friend the other day and we were driving around and pulled over to talk and he ended up kissing me and then it went faster and faster from there. we would have ended up having sex if i hadn't had to get home. i've only known him for about 3 weeks and yesterday was the first time me were alone together and this happened. My boyfriend and I have been dating for a long time, and we're both sexually active and practice safe sex practices. We have sex a few times a month, but sometimes I really don't want it. We'll be in bed and I'll just lie there, and he'll continue to try to get me in to it. Despite the fact I tell him I don't want to either because I'm tired or because he doesn't have a condom. I have a thyroid condition that makes my fertility rate extremely low, and sometimes I just can't get risk getting pregnant. But sometimes he'll just lift me up on top of him, or put himself on top of me and engage anyway. I don't want it.. and I seem extremely bored through the whole thing and sometimes I'll try to push him off of me, but he won't move because he's much bigger and stronger than me... and he doesn't want me to relieve his blue-balls orally, and he doesn't want to do it himself... how can I make him listen to me?

My boyfriend and I got back together after a 2 month break up. He wanted to try again and take things slow. Its been two months since we have gotten back together and I feel there has been no progress made. He doesnt call me everyday like he said he would. I dont get random text messages like I used to. He tells me that he is still unsure about me. All this hurts me alot and I know the best thing for me is to break up with him, but I still love him and melt everytime he comes over or calls. At the end of the day, I feel I'm not getting enough attention from him. I feel like I'm too available to him and he doesnt realize my worth because I'm around all the time. Should I back off a little? Should I not contact him and let him contact me? Will that help the relationship? I know the clear answer is to end it, but what are my other options to fix this? I have lived in my apartment complex for going on 8 months now. I don't know anyone except the guy who lives downstairs from me. He's nice and he lets me borrow movies and I do likewise, neighborly things. Other than that, all I really do is sit in this tiny box of an apartment and feel really lonely. My parents tell me to come visit them, but I'm tired of going over there, it's why I moved out. Anyway, today my neighbor came over and tapped on my door and asked if I'd care to watch a dvd on the computer with him, if I was bored. He's nice and he has told me that he has a girlfriend that doesn't live with him and that he also has a child with her. I've seen her and the baby before and I respect what they have. I went down there today and we were watching a movie, when she walks in with her key that he gave her, and she said "You know I don't play that sh!t!" They talked and came back in and she threatened to get violent with me and told me to get out and to not come back." Was I wrong?

Does it mean they like you? I like this guy and he stares at me A LOT. I saw one of them today and he kept starring at me and I want to know if he likes me or not. Apparently he lost interest because I accussed him of cheating on me one day after I found a phone number and directions lying around after a recent argument we had. Come to find out I overreacted because it was directions to help move one of his friends stuff to his new house. And that was the truth since I ended up attending a new house party, plus my bf never lies to me. So now he doesn't trust that I trust him. And he's not sure if he's in love with me anymore, but knows he still loves and cares about me. I still talk to him after the breakup and we still have sex. I also know he broke up with me because he wasn't happy. He's in a lot of debt from past mistakes. And he doesn't want to bring me down with him anymore. But I still love him and we used to talk about marriage, I had so many dreams. But he felt pressured and overwhelmed and now says I'm in the same playing field as any other girl, and he's not dating anyone. Am I wasting my time?

Well Im a bus girl at this resteraunt and I was working with another bus girl and a bus boy. Okay i might of asked this before, but w/e. So anyways, this guy "Brad" likes me. The problem is that he has a "gf" which none of his closest friends, or i believe... None of us have eva seen her, and she's home schooled. ok, my boyfriend of 5 years broke up with me about 1 month ago. A few days later he was already with another girl. im pretty sure that they were seeing eachother, or at least he had feelings for her while we were together. this guy that i was friends with (he liked me but i diddnt really like him) used to call me a lot like every day. Then he started calling another girl instead of me and when he did call me it seemed like he was trying to make me jealous talking about the other girl. I met this guy at a party, and we totally hit it off. He had this major crush on me, but then he kept hearing rumors that I didn't like him (Which weren't true at ALL). So, his friends told him to "move on"... which he did. And he told his best friend that he doesn't even want to talk to me, and that he won't come to this party because I'm going to be there...

But then, I talked to him, told him that everything was made up, and that I like him. (This was later on that day when he told his best friend that he was pissed off at me.)

I asked if we still had a chance, and he said "It's sad because now, no. But earlier..."
I was just wondering that maybe it was just all about bad timing? Or is he actually not going to consider giving me another chance...?

He also told me that he was too afraid to talk to me, because he lost all his confidence after being rejected once. He's a really sensitive guy...

ok...so ive asked a couple questions about the same guy i love since we've been honest and let our feelings go out in the open..ok....so we both love each other very much..are always talking or thinking about each other....and want to go out..but in his religion he has pre-arranged marriages..so he doesnt want to "stain" my soul..we hold hands...kiss on the cheek..etc.....but he wont kiss me on the lips...and i wont give up on him..i really love him..any ideas to let him see what he has in front of him before i leave..which i wont do...is it really his religion or a lame excuse?? thanks...
