I have been going out with this guy for a couple days, a week on Tuesday. He's always been so nice. When getting to know me, I couldn't bring myself to look at him. I am an very shy person. He seemed a little put off by it, but kept trying to pursue me and being friendly. We talk a lot on myspace and sometimes on the phone. Sometimes he'll pause and ask why we cannot talk at school the way we do outside of school.
I told him about my plans to see a therapist, to work on my shyness and other things. He said he liked me just the way I was, and I believed him. A week or so later he asked me out and I asked twice if it was what he really wanted. He said yes, that it would make him very happy. Lately, he seems annoyed/exasperated and sometimes desperate to get a look at me. He makes little remarks. He made me feel bad by asking my eye color, that he's only seen me twice. I can't help but think this is his fault. Why did he ask me out in the first place then? Any tips for overcoming shyness?

Im a hetrosexual guy, but i like to look nice.

By look nice i mean i dont want spotty skin, pale skin and bushy eyebrows. So i use a face wash and toner on my skin to stop spots, use a fake tan (it doesnt look orange.. you cant tell its fake), because i have very very pale skin, which doesnt tan in the sun easily, and have to get my eyebrows waxed every 3 weeks or so otherwise i end up with an unobrow and LOADS of other random hairs all over the place.

I can garentee that at least two guys and one girl will call me gay. But im not... i LOVE girls.

My question to you is, if you started dating a guy and found out 4 weeks into the relationship he did this.. what would you think? would it change your opinion of him?

one thing i do want to say is that im not high maintenance. to use a face wash and toner takes 30 seconds.. putting a fake tan on take 15 mins once every week, and the eyebrows 2 mins once every 3 weeks.

There's this girl at my school that I like who's really cute and I think likes me, but I'm not sure. She smiles at me alot and asks me all the time to sit with her at lunch. Then, at homecoming, even though we didn't go together, she wanted me to dance with her. Is she just being friendly or does she like me too? why do people complain about not being in love but they play all these games.

why do you go against what you know someone wants from you?

if you know your mate wants you to show them attention, why do you let them continue to act irrational when they think you dont care, while you sit back and watch?

why dont you tell someone what you want from them if thats what you want?

So I started liking this guy named Max. He's 18 and I'm 15. We met on the local college campus. I'm in a WATC program and we bumped into each other in the coffee shop. Since then -- we have been good friends. We talk to each other a lot, we hang out.. go see movies. I like him a lot and he likes me. BUT his friends are real big on enforcing the "2 year rule" although, his mother thinks it is alright because 3 years isn't that big of a difference. One of his good friend, Paul, is REALLY big on enforcing his 2 year rule.

Soon, I started talking to Paul. He opened up to me and I did the same -- he has a girlfriend but he is taking a "break" from her.
We hung out and ended up kissing.

I found out he was really big on enforcing the 2 year rule, as well, because he liked me.
Paul is a cool guy.. he's sweet and funny.. but I still like Max.
Although, he has his heart set on me not ever being with Max.

Any advice? Words of wisdom? Who should I choose?

Yesterday my boyfriend of two years told me he was ready to have a baby but I'm not. I mean there are so many things I want to do before committing myself to a kid. I'll admit I'm a little too selfish and maybe immature to have a baby even though I'm 28 years old. I still like to spend my money on frivlous things and I love the freedom of spending my paycheck just on me and not have to worry about feeding any kids. Plus, I wanted to get married before I had kids but he hasn't said a thing about marriage, though. I have a feeling that my coworker is attracted to me... he's 20 years older, hot and single for his age. Lately, he's been visiting my department a lot and he ends up talking to me the whole time. I was 11 year old girl ! and I just started this school in ashfield, there was this boy name mike and he was new as well and he kind of liked me and he asked me out but I said No! . A childhood friend and I met up yest. We went to a cafe and a lady selling pink roses passed by and he bought me one. I don't know if it was considered a date. We talked about how he must go thru 10 days of not eating meat to support his family being Buddhist. We joked about how it is so hard for him to not eat meat. Everything went well, flirted, etc. Afterwards, he left to eat dinner at a vegetarian restaurant with his family. While he was there, he texted me "I hate eating veggies." And I texted right back (3 minutes later) that "Aww poor thing... hang in there hehe." Now I still haven't received any text or call back? Did I say or do something wrong? Should I have waited 1/2 hr? It has been 24 hrs since I heard back from him. Most importantly, did my message come across too mushy or sound like i want a relationship out of it already? and no, i'm not fishing for compliments at all. every1's been telling me she's totally jealous & also lately she's been SO annoying 4 me to be around because she's always insulting me & saying my crush doesn't like me back (even though it's obvious to every1 he does).

my other friends told me they think she's jealous of me because
1- i'm skinny (in shape) and she's kind of chunky.
2- i'm pretty (like i said, no: i'm not fishing 4 compliments)
3- the guy i like likes me back & she has no chance with the guy she likes.
4- she's never had a real bf b4 but i have.

what should i do? this whole thing w/ her being jealous of me is turning her into a b*tch & i can't stand being around her anymore! thanks!

i mean there is this guy i like but i don't know if he likes me. i mean he talks to me whenever his friends aren't around. but he never talks to me when his friends are there.. i mean like this one time. during the weekend we were hanging out he would come to my house or he woould call my cell phone and he would never want to hang up he would want to talk on the phone for hours. but then on monday when school started back again.but i went up to him and told him how much fun i had hanging out with him and talking to him, but then he just looked at his friends and then back at me and said "what are you talking about i never even came to your house and i never even talked to you on the phone you must be smoking dope....
what is his problem... why does he do that. why does he play me and then pretend that he never even talked to me???

I would definatly describe myself as someone who doesn't look at peoples aesthetic looks or how they dress. I'd rather wear my spiderman t-shirt than something fancy, I'm simple, I'm smart, I'm me. The boy that i like, I'm in love w/ his mind. This is strong, but true. We have two classes together: Pre-AP Chemistry and Pre-AP World History. We hang out at chess club together, and we talk alot. We even email each other. But everytime we talk about important stuff like how crappy our home lives are, he stops coming up to me. He used to do cute little things like kick my chair, and come to my lab table in Chemistry and tease me, but he doesn't do that anymore. He'd say hi to me in the halls. Now he won't look at me or even talk to me. alright so I am 18 but in 22 years I can come back and this statement will be true. I have never had a girlfriend, barely any friends that were girls, dont even think you can call them friends cuz I have never hung out with a girl. Girls just dont like me I dont know why. I thought I was pretty normal athletic/built, smart, nice, kind,respectful, thought I looked good(girls must not though).
