I have a feeling that my coworker is attracted to me... he's 20 years older, hot and single for his age. Lately, he's been visiting my department a lot and he ends up talking to me the whole time. A lot of my male coworkers says that he's been visiting a lot more ever since I started working there. Also, I noticed that he remembers everything I say and he always steals a glance. When we look at each other, I feel a sexual chemistry between us that we can't act upon... unless it's just me that's only feeling that. Opinions please?

You better hope he doesn't. I speak from experience...it's a very bad idea to go out with someone you work with. Please be smarter than I was and don't do it?! It ends badly and this happened to me twice and also to others I know so I think it is almost always a very bad thing to be dating a coworker.

there are a lot of things wrong with that situation since first, it is usually a bad idea to date a co-worker, first of all, and second, assuming that you are at least 18 or so, I would wonder about a person who is hot and single at 20 years older than that who does not have either a wife, or a girl friend so that he wouldn't be paying that much attention to you, so it sounds like he may be a "player" and not someone to get involved with. If you find someone that much older outside of work and are attracted, there isn't always a problem with the age difference other than what I mentioned as to possible wive or girl friend.

It's obvious to me that he is attracted to you. Why can't you act on it? It's not your boss which would be wrong but if your both single then why not. Lots of people meet there b/f or g/f at work.

A.) play it cool and maybe go out to dinner with him sometime
B.) say straight up that there is nothing between you but whats the fun in that right?
C.) say to him after a while that you just broke up with your boyfriend and need some space so lets just be friends.....lol

Yes he likes you. Don't forget the golden rule--NEVER date anyone you have to work with.
