I'm not being conceited but people tell me that I'm pretty. I actually have low self-esteem.

Some girl don't want to be friend's with me because she thinks I'm going to steal her boyfriend. I didn't even know I was that pretty that some girl rejected me as a friend for NOT wanting me to be close to her boyfriend.

But why does her rejection hurting me now?

you see the thing is she does know i exist becasue i talked to her all the time in my physics class last year. she I guess likes me as a friend. I have sent her emails becasue i do not see her much this year. I really want to talk to her but i fear rejection. What should i do? also i never see her alone becasue she is one of the popularest people in the school but yet she is a respecting person who is really smart and i just really like her. also do not say to flirt with her becasue that really is not going to help.

My friend & I hooked up 2 weeks ago. I've had a crush on him for months but that night he seemed into me. After that, we had crazy, stressful exams & didn't really talk much until this past weekend when we all went out. He seemed to pay attn to me on Thurs night. I get shy around guys I like so I don't know if I came across as not interested or if he just isn't because he didn't pay much attn to me Fri night & actually talked to my friend more. He's not the kinda guy that jumps from girl to girl & doesn't really just hook-up. I got drunk & annoyed & started flirting w/ another guy & he seemed to look over in our direction quite a bit, but I don't know what to make of it. Anyways, I like him quite a bit & don't know if I screwed it up by hanging out w/ other guy all night. I just called to ask if he wanted to come get ice cream w/ me to just tell him that I have a crush on him instead of playing stupid games. He didn't pick up and I'm confused about what to think/where to go from here.

I'm not quite sure how you are feeling since we last spoke, if you even want to talk to me or what...Either way I would like to let you know that I never had any intentions of hurting you. Maybe we should have been more clear with our expectations in this "relationship" (and I say "relationship" because we both know and expressed that neither one of us was ready for that yet), not that I did not want to be with you, like I said, I just needed time.

It hurt when you said that I haven't changed (the second time you said that to me). I know I have changed a lot since we were last together, if we were together I'm sure you would see that.

Anyways, I won't waste anymore of your time (if that's how you feel) but I hope you can be open enough to understand where I am coming from in this situation. I'm not going to try and explain myself, sometimes I feel it just sounds bad when I try to...I hope you can trust me on this.

when i look around, i don't see any guy or know any guy that i think i would like to date. i just feel there is no reason for me to want to pursue any relationship with them...i don't know if it's maybe bcoz i have a really bad crush on someone (who's currently not around) or/and bcoz these guys are just not the right ones...but bcoz i am just not interested, this feeling of complete dis-interest worries me....

Me and my girlfriend have been going out for a month we are both christians she is just more devoted to God you might say then i am. She basically renewed my faith and has changed my life. She says she loves me and still wants to date me but God dosent think it is "right". She says God should be her #1 and if she is dating me God is kinda pushed aside i guess, she says she isnt getting any closer and im not growing as a christian either. She is telling me it might be temporary and that it could just be one of God's tests. Should i try and move on or wait and see what happens....? I want to set up a honeymoon/vacation/wedding at one of the carribean resorts that specialize in weddings. I want to bring my girl a wedding dress, shoes etc.... Ok the last few submissions have been about cheating and you guys answers cause more questions. Ok I've been in love with a few people and even though I did, I cheated. How do you define love? If you know in your heart that you want to be with a person and you do have strong emotional connections with a person and you cheat, does that mean you don't love that person. I know cheating is dishonorable and not a good symbol of love by no means, but is it possible to love someone, even though you cheat on them?

I've since deleted everything off my computer and anything tangible that I've ever made with ex girlfriends that are x-rated. But apparently itunes uploaded the pictures onto my video iPod without me knowing!!! My fiance saw them today when she was working out and is now LIVID!!! I told her I've never done it before, because I just wanted to protect her feelings because that was a LONG time ago, and I'm very different now. I don't look at any x rated material EVER now. So it sucks. She says she forgives me, but I feel like I've let her down so bad. I don't know what to do or say, I feel like the lowest scum of the earth. I'm in way too deep. I've never gotton attatched to a guy before so i thought it would be the same now, but he's doing something to me i've never felt before. I'm falling for him really bad and he's always treating me like he's just doing me a favour being with me. I was warned about him and that he's hurt all his ex's but i was stupid and stuborn and had to keep him close, at first just to prove everyone wrong, but now I can't help but come back to him! ok this past wednesday after church i walk outside and there is a bunch of people outside and suddenly this girl from my class that i have never talked to b4 says,

"Do you want to be my friend?"
i said, "sure what's your name?"
she said "holly"
then she looked over to her friends and they giggled.

This question is mainly for men who have experienced this, but I'm open to women responding because I know they have some valuable input. I believe that a child that is ridiculously attatched to their mother will drive a man away just as fast as a hell-raiser child. This is not about being jealous of the child, but I do believe there is a such thing as being too attached. At what age is it no-longer acceptable to be a mama's girl (boy)? What are the general stereotypes of mama's girls? (It's easy to get info on mama's boys.) How do kids end up being ridiculously attached to parents? Your answers are greatly appreciated.
