Do you like to date men who are in the same career as you or would you prefer someone from a different field.

I'm not talking about money, I'm talking about careers.

different so we would have more to talk about... but the same job could maybe give us more to talk about ... WOW never thought of that much.

I think in the long run, talking about different careers will be more interesting. Having the same problems by working in the same field probably gets so old!

i prefer from a different field. I don't like to come home and talk about work. I like to leave it at work. When people work in the same field or the same place even a lot of conversation is done about work where as if you work in two totally different fields and/or environments you tend to learn something about the other person a lot faster because your conversations aren't based on work for the most part. But that is just me.

For most careers it wouldn't matter but if your thinking about the ones like law enforcement, acting or singing then i would have to say yes i would prefer some one that does it as well cause they would be able to understand the pressure that is on people in those careers

I don't think it would matter to me if we had the same career, so long as we didn't work for the same company and same department. That would be a bit too close for my taste.

i think similar intrests are a big deal, but i think working together and dating/ marriage/ living togther is a bad idea. everyone needs a break from their significant other, and work provides that break. BUT if your not working in the same building/ company i think its great.

It wouldn't matter what line of work one another is in. As long as their both happy. It personally wouldn't bother me either which way.
