Can someone confirm for me that this is messed up reasoning. Ok, so I've decided to turn over a new leaf in my life and be more social etc. (If you see my other q's, you'll see where I'm kinda at in life.)

But um, I'm kinda hesitant to meet up with people or go to events etc. because I feel like I'm not currently very charming or anything like that, plus I'm not in shape etc. So it's a bit of a catch-22 where I'm like, I can't learn to be social until I *am* social, and I'm hesitant to be so until I've lost weight. Which seems like a bit of a vicous circle to me. It's a bit illogical but um, yeah, just confirming that it is a stupid way to decide whether to go out or not.

I broke up with my now ex today. He is a really good man and I really care for him. It was incredibly painful. I still have deep feelings for another man and i know that i will be able to love again i just didnt feel that i could ever love him (my now ex)enough in that way to make me or him happy. He was a very good man though the type you dont come across very often. Is it normal to feel unsure and remorseful of a decison like this.

I always enjoyed the company of women and always when I walk up to a girl and talk to her they think I am flirting. Why can I have casual conversation with men but not with women?

Reason I ask now is: I am good friends with one of my girlfriend friends and this is causing tension in our relationship because 'i must have subconscious feelings etc...' I do care about this friendship and I don't want to end it because of irrational behavior.

Women please, why do you always think our attraction to you is always physical?

He’s known her for a while but has never been more than friends with her. Because he’s a great guy he attracts a lot of people to him, including female friends, but there’s one girl in particular who has recently been expressing interest in being with him. I have spoken with him about her & only recently did he realize just how interested she is in him. Since then he has made sure to have her see us together & hasn’t encouraged her feelings to my knowledge. But she continues to try & make her presence known to him. I’m having a hard time figuring out how to deal with this situation. I’ve talked with him about it already but I feel if I continue mentioning it to him it will really start to seem desperate. I trust him but I do not trust her. I have only met her briefly once & have no real desire to speak with her in the future. What can I do to get her to back off? How can I come across as confident & secure when it’s really bugging me? I want to be able to stop worrying about this.

I meet someone and I think I love her. But I asked her friends about her exes, and found out that physically that I am not her type. She likes chubby guy, and I am not. When I asked her, am I her type or not, she just didn’t answer me and try to avoid that topic. But she often asks me to go out with some friends for dinner, and want me to drop her home. During the ‘date’ she always walks or sits beside me.

What do you think? Does she love me even that I am not her type? What should I do now?

Does he feel like he should be the only on flirting with me?

He and I aren't dating, but I really like him!!!

AND I wasn't flirting with the other guy!!! Just talking about a mutual friend.

PLUS, I don't know he really likes me...He won't SAY it!

I asked one of my guy buds what he thought about it. He said
evidently the guy thought he had an understanding with me that I would be his. I'd be glad to be his, but he never said anything except this part I told you about.

I forgot to tell you that I told him "No, Baby, I love you!"
Then he said "I love you ,too!" super sweetly.


I guess I am asking you this because I doubt that anyone could MEAN IT when they say that stuff to me...much less it be the guy I really do like. He won't really come forth and say anything like "Be my girlfriend" or whatever guys say to let a girl know he wants to be a couple.

When she smiles at a guy everytime he comes around and the fact that she doesn't smile often, she also smiles when a guy flirts with her ex(tickle her ribs), and sometimes the guy puts his arm around her and she doesn't brush him off but when other guys try it she brushes them off. Are those signs of interest?

ok so i recently evaluated my life and this is how it is: I have no more girlfriend and am heartbroken but have messed around with other girls. I am not satisfied everyone of those girls i messed around with i have no future with. Last year i got jumped by this gang and the people that jumped me live 2 blocks from my house so everytime im in my own neighborhood its dangerous. my neighborhood has a lot of gang problems. I am doing good in school. The only thing i have to look forward to is getting my license in 4 months. I am really bad without a girlfriend but can only find girls to mess around with. I dont do much on the weekends because i dont have my license yet. everyday i think about how unsatisfied i am with my life. Maybe i should move and start fresh? Maybe i should try finding a good girlfriend? Maybe i should wait until i get a license and see if my better social life makes me happy? what should i do to be happy?

Oh he will go anywhere with me but he never invites me out for dinner and I know he is really poor but he doesnt want to spend any money on me.It irks me.When we first met he was going through a really hard time so I just paid my own way.He did offer and I turned him down at the time because I didnt know him and I thought maybe He thought I would sleep with him if he got me drunk so I declined.Now I wish Id never opened my mouth.Now I want him to actually take me out for dinner.It can be cheap !Im not picky!How do I fix this?

I've been seeing a guy for seven months. During that time he has continually lied to me, but convinced me each time that I'm over-reacting when I confront him & that I am being too sensitive (and he denies everything). I know he's lying to me, but I let him talk me around. I'm so paranoid, checking up on him all the time (and usually confirming my suspicions).

But I'm still with him. I just can't seem to let him go, I feel really weak because I care about him & don't want to not have him in my life. But I also feel so broken down. I'm not happy at all, but I can't imagine him not being in my life.

Has anyone had something similar? how did you deal with this? Please don't answer with, 'leave him', because I already know I should! I just want some advice really.. thanks :)

I am dating a guy, and it's between friends and gf/bf, you know, in ambigous place. We are having good time dating, He sounds very happy and willing to talk when I call, but he doesn't call me much. we talk longer and longer each time.

Since no one is making the move, is it ok for me to call him sometime once in a while? I noticed maybe he is dumb, doens't know what to talk over phone. Could someone give me som advice how to lead him and break the ice????

I'm 33 and I'm not comfortable with the attention. How come I'm meeting guys whom wants to get physical with me ? I'm always in knee length skirt, and long sleeve top, I'm curvy but there isn't much I can do about hiding it. I'm tired of it. I hold conversation well, and can usually talk about any topics but why I kept on getting the wrong attention ? I'm thinking of cutting my hair short. Guys also seem to like my mouth, damn it ... I don't think I do suggestive move with my mouth when I talk. I have lots of female friends and I talk to them just the same. What's wrong with me ?

i dont know whether what ive did was the dumbest thing or maybe even worse(as 4 me)..today i've decided to return back all of my ex bf pictures(f.y.i broke off 3 years ago)..before i have promise myself not to involve(hear anything from him) about him anymore...but when i found his childhood pictures that was given to me suddenly i felt it isnt right to burn the pictures since that pictures is valuable because we cant go back to our childhood only the pics can take the glimpse of it..so ive post the pics n send to his home address (we're are not in the same state) so ive been thinking bout this the whole day was it right or wrong i return back the pics cause i dont want he to think that i still want to get him(im already engaged) back or more than that..warghhhhhh was it right or wrong (

I've been dating this guy for 2 yrs. We live together & I thought everything was fine until I recieved a change of address form with his information on it in the mail. When I confronted him he stated, "I need some space to figure things out."

So he moved most of his stuff out of the house. Later on that night, he called me almost a hundred times until I turned off my cell & took the house phone off the hook. He keeps saying he wants to come back. I don't understand how you can ask for space & then be wanting to come back so soon.

So yesterday I asked him to leave his key & said that we should try to not talk or see each other for awhile to figure out what we both want. He refuses.

I don't know what step to take now since I've been heartbroken since this happened. I want him to come home but I'm also beyond pissed for his actions & now have trust issues that I never had in our relationship. Is this relationship worth keeping or should I cut my loses & move on?

Usually when my boyfriend doesn't pick up my phone calls I call back over and over, sometimes 20 times until he does. He sees it as cute more than anything else but I guess in a part it's a control thing on my part. What I don't understand though is why he finds it necessary to never pick up on the first call. I just find it strange and sort of inconsiderate, as if he thinks I have nothing better to do. I know I'm enabling him but I just thought that out of love you don't want to drag your partner to the lengths of doing things that I do, rational or not.
