Oh he will go anywhere with me but he never invites me out for dinner and I know he is really poor but he doesnt want to spend any money on me.It irks me.When we first met he was going through a really hard time so I just paid my own way.He did offer and I turned him down at the time because I didnt know him and I thought maybe He thought I would sleep with him if he got me drunk so I declined.Now I wish Id never opened my mouth.Now I want him to actually take me out for dinner.It can be cheap !Im not picky!How do I fix this?

U r right about one thing and that is if someone buys something for u, it means they want something in return.
In ur case, u should one day tell him that u would really like to go out with someone who buys u things (meaning he pays from his own money) even if it was cheap at least its something that will make u feel that u r loved and also take u to cheap restaurants (at least once a week, better than nothing). If he can't afford anything, why is he relying on u to pay all the time. I mean, the person can be stingy but not 100%. If he can't afford anything, why is he goin out with someone who he knows that he's gonna break her heart cause he can't offer her the things that she wants.

If he does not have adequate money it is a bit unfair to expect him to take you out. But if he is just holding back you need to sit him down and tell him how you feel. If he is just being a cheapskate you might want to find someone that is happy to afford you.
OR, you might want to help him find a better paying job. If he has a better paying job then he has NO excuse.

Maybe he thinks you won't accept his paying for your dinner since you mentioned paying for yourself when you just started going out.
Maybe he's really in a tight spot and doesn't have as much dough as he wants to spend on his girl.
Maybe he's not sure what you want after all.
that's a lot of maybes. but you just have to talk to him.tell him you'd appreciate it if he took you out to dinner, nothing fancy. just talk to him girl.

Admire him for being careful with the money.. Lots of guys get into debts because of girls.. Understand him and love him

Tell him that if you are good enough to sleep with, then you are sure as he** good enough to take out on occasion. Tell him that it doesn't have to be expensive, but he better start taking you somewhere or you will find someone that will.
