He’s known her for a while but has never been more than friends with her. Because he’s a great guy he attracts a lot of people to him, including female friends, but there’s one girl in particular who has recently been expressing interest in being with him. I have spoken with him about her & only recently did he realize just how interested she is in him. Since then he has made sure to have her see us together & hasn’t encouraged her feelings to my knowledge. But she continues to try & make her presence known to him. I’m having a hard time figuring out how to deal with this situation. I’ve talked with him about it already but I feel if I continue mentioning it to him it will really start to seem desperate. I trust him but I do not trust her. I have only met her briefly once & have no real desire to speak with her in the future. What can I do to get her to back off? How can I come across as confident & secure when it’s really bugging me? I want to be able to stop worrying about this.

If your bf is such a great guy, you have nothing to worry about. My mom always said, "if they can get him, they can have him." I think by your bf wanting her to see you together, he's trying to get the message out that he's happy and she needs to back off.
You sound level headed and mature, guys are attracted to these strengths in women. Continue on, don't let her get to you, and you and your bf enjoy each other without letting her be a cloud hanging over you.

Continue to see how he handles the situation first. He just may be encouraging it as far as you know. If she continues to do it and he makes light of the situation, then its time to put him and her in their place. He knows its bugging you and he should be able to tell ol girl straight up that he's with you and only you if thats the case. Then you tell her to back up before she gets smacked up, lol. But at the same time, some women thrive off stuff like this so you might just want to play it cool. If she sees its bothering you, that might tempt her to keep doing it. People like to play games, but its really up to your man to handle it first.

Let me have her phone number - she'll be dead by sundown tomorrow. I'm kidding..

It is good that you have spoken to your boyfriend about it and he seems to understand your concerns. I would keep the communication line with the boyfriend open at all times. If the girl wants to dance like a monkey in front of your boyfriend - let her go ahead. Remember that a third party can never break up a healthy relationship. Focus on your relationship and not on her.

It's really up to your man to deal with her. The best thing would be for him to tell her flat out that he's not interested, but if he's not going to do that then you may just have to accept it. Give him a long kiss in front of her, then look right at her and smirk just to let her know you know what she's up to and you're not worried.

He is ur bf and u know him better than any one else and u have out that u trust him then why ur worried? trust and belief is the key word in love but still keep an eye on both of them without spelling it before them else it may hurt his feelings and u may lose him forever. good luck

If you trust your boyfriend then there isn't anything you can really do but be patient and wait for her to get over him.

Ask your b/f if he can get some of his buddies to start flirting with her ... maybe if she gets attention from other guys,
she might back off from wanting yours
