How to break the ice?

Question

I am dating a guy, and it's between friends and gf/bf, you know, in ambigous place. We are having good time dating, He sounds very happy and willing to talk when I call, but he doesn't call me much. we talk longer and longer each time.

Since no one is making the move, is it ok for me to call him sometime once in a while? I noticed maybe he is dumb, doens't know what to talk over phone. Could someone give me som advice how to lead him and break the ice????

so many possible thoughts flow over my brain of the reasons why he doens't call. When I call him, I found it has nothing relates to what I thought. He is willing to talk, but I don't want to be the one who keeps calling.......................................

Ice is formed below 0 celcius. Although it is in solid state but it can be broken in to pieces with a solid object.

How about just relaxing and seeing where it goes? Don't push. Be kind and friendly when he calls, but end the conversations when they start getting a little dull. Say, "Hey, this has been great, but I've got to run." If you always call, you'll never know how interested he is, because you never see how long he'll wait to call you, so you'll never know.

Yes now adays it isn't just the guys that should make the calls. Girls you can make the calls as well...so call him talk to him and see where it goes...good luck.

Tell him another guy asked you out and judge his reaction.

guys don't like the phone. known fact. call him if you want. are you dating, or just hanging out? is he your boyfriend? if not, then he or you are under no obligation to call each other. just do it.
