do u think taking a break is a good idea? my boyfriend is saying that he wants a break for a few weeks. i was thinking about that too. i live with a mom he doesn't. however he doesn't live alone he lives with his uncle. a while ago he was saying that he was having mixed feelings. he said if we get back together we get back together but i doubt that will happen. there are times when he thinks my mom is protective im 22 he's 28. there are some rules i have no control over.
does anyone else have any opinions?

I've been with a man for a year and a half. He has always had manic depression. This past week I was going to tell him I needed a break (maybe 6 months or so to see if his behavior gets better...maybe so he'll know I'm serious about wanting him to get help) but before I could tell him, he volunteered himself to go to a mental hospital.

I feel stuck.

Do I still tell him I need a break, or do I stay with him because he's trying to get help? I have my own stress, I cannot deal with his as well. I'm trying to finish up college and get a job.

I do not have the energy or patience anymore. But part of me thinks things will get better.....what would you do?

I've been talking to this guy since December 06 and he's really cool. I finally met him in January of '07 and I noticed something about him that's been bugging me, but I don't if I should bring it up because I don't want to be looked at as rude.

He has a MAJOR UNDERBITE and its really really bothering me. I haven't seen him since January, but we still talk almost everyday and since March he's been in a relationship with this other girl.

I don't want to ask him about it or tell him it bothers me hbecause I don't want to seem like I'm superficial because there can be a lot of things he doesn't like about me and we're not together.

Would it be rude to ask him or should I just keep it to myself?

If I do ask him, how should I go about it in a nice way?

I recently started seeing this guy (24) who moved here in january..we work together...and i really care about him, but he perplexes me so much. we pretty much spend every night together and stuff, but then sometimes he'll say he's got some stuff to do...and then i freak out because i feel like he doesnt care about me...and i dont know if you guys know what facebook is, but through there i added his cousin (a girl) that he's close to as a friend. I started talking to her and she said she would ask him about me (cuz he hadnt mentioned me yet, which was bad news for me already) and when she asked him about me, he said "nahh...tell me about your new dude" (she also recently started dating someone)...now, this kind of offended me? Would you be offended? He tells me he cares about me a lot, and is serious about me, but these things really get to me. why does he not want to talk about me? Is there a valid reason for this? what questions should i ask him?! please help!

we were about to do it when i felt her leg and it fell on the floor! She had a prosthetic leg and as i ran out of the room she tried to chase me but tripped cause her leg wasnt in place .... i came back and picked her up but she then bit me...... i took off i dont know what to do about her what are your insights people?

Hi everyone. I'm 20 years old and my ex is 25. We had been together for 14 months before we broke up few days ago. We were in love.
Few days ago, he wanted to break up with me. I told him that we could work out together, but he didnt want to. He said that he does not love me anymore and doesnt have any feelings left for me. He said he still loves me as a friend. He told me that the main reason we broke up was that he wanted to be a freeman, free from any attachment because he wanted to do things for himself, like travelling and hang out with anyone he wants to. He didnt want any girlfriend right now and he wanted to move on. He said that he was SO happy that he is finally free and broke up with me. I was so upset, I talked to him for 3 days after he dumped me, but he still didnt want to get back together. He asked me to move on and he didnt want to give me any hope. I am 101% sure he is not cheating on me. I still love him and I admit i had faults in this relationship. Thank you.

I met a great guy last year but I sabotaged the relationship because I was afraid of getting close to him. We broke up for about a month b/c we couldn't repair the damage. We fought too much and needed some time apart. He wants me back and I want to be w/ him w/ my newfound confidence. The problem? He wants to take things very slowly and be friends trying to work our way back to a relationship. I believe actions speak louder than words and he doesn't act like he wants to be w/ me. I cuddle up next to him. I grab his hand. I tell him how much I care about him and want this to work. I'm definitely showing him that I want to be w/ him. I want all or nothing w/ him. I can't be just "friends w/ benefits", there is too much of a history between us. He has all the control right now, I have nothing. I shouldn't want to be w/ somebody who won't fight for us right? Do I wait for him to be ok with an "us" or move on? He won't take well to pressure. I do love him but am I being stupid?

i left my man because i wasn't happy with the way that things were going. i met a guy and he showed me everything that i deserve as a woman. i was happy being single for a while but when we see eachother now its like we want to talk to eachother but we dont know how to approach one another . i love him and i know he still loves me but something tells me that i need to move on. when isee him i want to run to him and hug him but i hurt him by leavin him and i dont want to lead him on... he's hurt me as well in worse ways but i dont wanna swoop down to his level. im not that kinda female. i dont know what i want... i wasn't quite as happy as i shouldve been while i was with him... but i miss him and im less happier now!!! please help!

My ex broke up with me 3 months ago after 6 years of dating. Because he didnt want to settle down. We have been together since we were 16. He has started drinking & partying alot something he never wanted to do before & he is always in a bad mood if he is sober & his family says it seems like he is trying really hard or acting to change himself. he has always been really close with his mom but know he is pushing her away. I was just wondering does this sound more like a phase, maybe he just needs to have a wild hair & doesnt want to be tied down or does it sound like this is the person he wants to be. I really want him back but I cant figure out if this is a phase he is going through or not..what do you think?

well i just found out that my bestfriend is cheating on her boyfriend which is one of my friends too, and she is cheating on him with HIS BEST FRIEND. And we are in 8th grade, and the boyfriend is a freshman and his bestfriend is a SOPHMORE. In high school there were people including girls who teased me because I was nerdy. Now I am the man with the muscles, the boxing ability, and the baddest urban wear. I was reading an online article on playing mind games and I found out that I too am to blame. I really don't want to be the type to play this ridiculous game. I guess it grew from when I would ask my friends for advice and they would tell me to do as follows:
1. Wait a few days before you call so you won't seem desperate.
2. If he makes you mad then give the silent treatment.
3. If he talks to his ex then don't let him know you feel upset.
4. etc. etc.
I feel really bad because I feel I lost somebody who I cared about from this and I don't want to loose somebody else. How do I rid myself from this childish game? Seriously!

Just asking. I have to tell you that I have seen a girl who could remarkably spot something in a person that seemed well hidden; however, that same girl could have some guy put on a facade and she totally bought it. Feminine intuition seems to pick up on some random stuff in unique ways, but it doesn't seem to work 100% of the time.

I have a childishly jealous boyfriend. He's 36 i am going to be 37..I am getting a tatoo just below my bellybutton. I made the appt. sunday and getting it today..my man has never had a tatoo and he was all for mine to be done..i have 1 already, a Boris Vallejos painting on my leg..well, he just called me and told me that he was mad because someone told him that the tatoo artist has to pull my pants "pretty far down" in order to do it...he WAS gonna pay for it Friday, so i had to borrow the money from my boss for today....now my b/f is basically tellin me that he doesn't know if he's gonna be able to handle having the other guy touch my stomach...I told HIM that it's like one of those female dr's...i'm sure that they're not thinkin of boinkin a girl they're examining!! There's a guy I talk to online for about a year now and I like him a lot and he likes me, too.. but sometimes I feel like I'm headed for being too clingy. It's just natural for me to want to talk to him all the time when he's online, or when he's not online, I'll text him and be like, "where's my entertainment at?" (its a joke with us) I can't help it. I don't want to drive him away - but I know some guys hate when a girl is constantly wanting to talk to them, or text them and what not. Should I lay off on trying to talk to him as much? Or at least not text him until he texts me or something? I knew it got bad when I was at a show on my Sidekick on AIM and I told my friend that he needed to get his *** online. She was like, you're being too obsessive. I can't help it. I feel like a hypocrite cause I say I hate guys who are clingy and posessive. Is it natural to feel like you always want to talk to the person? I just don't want to ultimately drive him away.
