Why does this happen?

Although I have been in love b4, & cared very deeply for my ex's....I can get over them & move on with my personal life as well as my emotions....Why is it that they can not move on to someone else? What is it that lets a person move on?

Some people choose to be alone after a break-up. They will move on when the time is right.
