There's a guy I talk to online for about a year now and I like him a lot and he likes me, too.. but sometimes I feel like I'm headed for being too clingy. It's just natural for me to want to talk to him all the time when he's online, or when he's not online, I'll text him and be like, "where's my entertainment at?" (its a joke with us) I can't help it. I don't want to drive him away - but I know some guys hate when a girl is constantly wanting to talk to them, or text them and what not. Should I lay off on trying to talk to him as much? Or at least not text him until he texts me or something? I knew it got bad when I was at a show on my Sidekick on AIM and I told my friend that he needed to get his *** online. She was like, you're being too obsessive. I can't help it. I feel like a hypocrite cause I say I hate guys who are clingy and posessive. Is it natural to feel like you always want to talk to the person? I just don't want to ultimately drive him away.

It is when your unable to make other important geniune relationships. It is also possiable when you really just don't like being by yourself, so in a way he becomes a drug to you. It also happens when he become an obsession, which I don't know enough about your dynamics to tell you if you fit any of these catergories. But you'd know whats up. But yep it can ultimately push away geniune relationships, but you do have the ultimate power against that! TALK TO HIM ABOUT IT!!!! If you can't, its really not much of a relationship and one of the things I just said is true. If not your just being insecure, love that guy and talk to him!
