I'm 15 and hes 18 and I only see him once a week. We've been together for a year and its not like we dont live near each other.

Okay, so I managed to call a guy to ask him to the Sadie Hawkins dance, and at first he said yes, but then he called back and told me that his parents aren't letting him go to any dances until next year...was it because he doesn't like me, or was it total rejection? I'm so confused! He added that he would have loved to go with me and told me he'll go with me next year, but I'm not sure if he was just being nice, or if he really meant that. By the way, his parents are VERY religious, so I was wondering if taht was the problem...
HELP!

There's this guy I met only last Sunday, and he's very nice. Later on that week, we would talk together about "stuff" in general and could basically talk anywhere from 30 minutes to hours. One time we got so deep into our conversations that I missed my bus stop. By this past Saturday (yesterday)--he asked me out to lunch, and I agreed to go, thinking it would be a "low key" get-together.

Anyway, instead of carry conversation like we normally do, he got straight into talking about his views on marriage and asked about mine.

While I agreed with some of his views and was a little uncomfortable about telling mine, I couldn't help but wonder HOW OLD he was.

After lunch, I came straight out and asked him: "How old are you?"--- He's 33 while I'm 19! I'm only a second-year college student, while he's an adjunct professor at a nearby law school and is the Director of a mediation program at Safe Horizon.

Should we go any further beyond just Friends?

But, srsly.
I am dating this guy, named, well, I ain't going to say his real name, so, lets call him..Jeffrey.
jeffrey and me were dating in november, and I went to las vegas (what happens in vegas, stays in vega, lmao, no, nuthin like that) and he managed to tell everyone he broke up with me, and he started dating some blonde chick!
I mean, sure, she's a blonde chick with a nice butt,
but I'm a brunnette/blonde chick who's smart and not fat, like her!
Anyway, I guess I shouldn;'t be so mean about her, lets name her, Morgan. Because shes coming to mine and my BFFs party, and she's cool.
Anyways. He cheated on me. People tryed to convince me that it was a misunderstanding, but I refused to listen, sinc ehe hadn't asked me out again. So, A couple weeks ago, me and my friend, lets name her, Bagel (thats her nickname, mmkay?) made gingerbread houses with my friend/baby(tween) sitter. Anyways, we ate it without usiing our hands because thatr was fun.

why tell your boyfriend you love them when you dont. my x used to tell me i love you at least 5 times a day and i believed her because i loved her as well. our relationship lasted 6 months and she decided to break up with me. in a matter of 2 sentence she said im not in love with you, but i love you very very much. yeah okay. yes i know theres a difference but come on you just dont fall out of love over night thats impossible. we havent been together for a month and i havent heard from her in over a week but i still think of her everyday and i do still love her even thoughi know shes moved on. ok back to my question why why why do woman lie and tell you they love you

I'm curious about this because my friend is always fighting with her man, and he hits her so she hits him back, but dosent this just make things worse? we all know men should never put their hands on a woman, i know he is wrong to hit her, but was she wrong to hit him back? the thing is they seem to think this life style of all hell breaking loose is normal, she comes to me when troubles happen, i have told her over and over again to get out, but she's still there, and the complaints are getting old real fast....should i just ignore her from now on? because she won't listen?

My girlfriend left me 7 months ago after a four year relationship and it has broken my heart so bad i think about just ending it all the time i just love this girl so much that i am just lost without her. i have quit my job dropped out of uni my life has just stopped and she doesent want anything to do with me. the reason for leaving me she said was that i worked to hard and studied to much and that she needs a guy to give her more effection. My long-distance boyfriend of 3 years told me last night that he's fed up to come home always to an empty flat alone and that he was wishing I was there. I thought it's sweet and told him that I miss him too,that it'd be nice if we could organise a meeting. We see each other about once a month. This morning he sent me a text that he didn't say it to be sweet and that he's fed up of having a girlfriend who's far and that it's been too long like this and he doesnt want to continue like this. I told him that I understand him but what does he want to do? He said we really need to think about it and he said not to expect always a solution from him, I also need to do something. He was looking for a job near me but could not find one. I started to be scared and asked him if he wants to end it. He got upset and told me that I always take everything as a threat instead of trying to find a solution with him and that he doesn't like that. He said to stop worry like that. We'll talk tonight.

Okay, Ive been dating non exlcusively this girl for a couple months. We spend alot of time together and we've messed around without sex. We hung out on Xmas day, on her birthday when she was drunk she was hanging off me in front of her friends. Shes said several times she thinks im amazing and really cute. All her friends like me as well.
However, in the past day, I asked her to make it more serious. Just be exclusive to each other. She said no. She said shes not ready for a serious relationship and she still wished to see other people. (Although, Im the only guy shes seeing now. She said that most guys only last a couple months in her life. And she doesnt seeing any guy lasting anymore than 4 months. So i said back was "I hope you dont think im a past time" She replied with, No, I like your company and we have alot of fun hanging out. its great.

My question is, What does this mean. Am I wasting my time? Should I continue to date her? I dont understand this girl.lol. shes 22 yrs o

If you are in a similar situation, answer from experience, if not, answer however you can. Say yr gf works 9-5 monday-friday, she has time to herself, gots plenty of space, when and how often would you say you two should hang out in person? (not including talking on phone, IM, or email.) Say she lives close-by too. How often would seem like not enough to show a real commitment to the relationship? Answer in your own way, add a bit more of yr views. thanks!

Im currently in college and all my life have only had one relationship that went perfect. all I want to have something like that before. Ive liked maybe one or two girls since Ive been here and honestly like them for their personality, but what am I doing wrong? - looks, personality, behavior, what is it :( ? I never have any luck asking and getting a good reponse, they always say the same thing. "I cant, 'cause we're too close of friends". I honestly sometimes think its because of looks or personality at times. what can I do to convince them that I am an honest guy and wont do anyhting in the worlld to hurt them. ok, so me and this guy,adam have been an "unofficial" couple for a couple weeks. at this party last night, we held hands and he helped me ice skate and we talked and crap. and back at someone's house after skating, we got dared to hug. so yea, everything was going well, until adam and his friend had to leave around midnight. my bff asked adam why he didnt kiss me. adam didnt answer, but his friend sed that there's someone my adam wants to kiss and its not me. after i heard that, i called adam and i dumped him. he called me back and sed that his frined was lying and its not true. so i asked him why he didnt kiss me, and he sed that he doesnt want to in front of 100 ppl. i asked him if he wanted one last chance(i gave him 2 chances before, cuz we went out before a while ago), and he sed he neede to think about it. WHY DOES HE NEED TO THINK ABOUT THAT!?!?!?! so he sed he does, and now i guess were back together again. but i feel kinda bad about it, and why did he need to think about that?

Ive been with someone for three years. but recently, ive had HUGE feelings for another person. we get on really well. he's one of those people that i can just talk to for hours and never have to think what to say. i'm 16 now. And i've been with my boyfriend since i was 13. we've kind of grown up together. And we're so close. I love him so much. I mean, i feel so good when im with him. I work in a financial istitution, he's a business customer. He's tall and handsome and funny. I am interested but not sure about his side of it, so I drop by his place of business just to see, and he's busy, so I leave. No harm, no foul...until he comes back into where I work and asks why I didn't say hi. Things progress, with us hanging out in groups and him being very very attentive- we have such chemistry, when we talk there's no one else in the world...and talk we do!. He tells me about his ex-gf's, etc and lots of details of his life. Then I get an email out of the blue...he's got a gf...a very pregnant gf. I am shocked but do a little investigating. Only by this time, she's his wife. And still, no ring on his hand. WHY couldn't he have just told me? He had to know I was interested and he certainly passed himself off as single....that's what he told me. Was he deliberately trying to make me look stupid, or is it deeper than that? I would never have guessed him for a player.

If so, then why do people break up with people they seemingly love over things that can be solved if they worked harder at solving them?
