why tell your boyfriend you love them when you dont. my x used to tell me i love you at least 5 times a day and i believed her because i loved her as well. our relationship lasted 6 months and she decided to break up with me. in a matter of 2 sentence she said im not in love with you, but i love you very very much. yeah okay. yes i know theres a difference but come on you just dont fall out of love over night thats impossible. we havent been together for a month and i havent heard from her in over a week but i still think of her everyday and i do still love her even thoughi know shes moved on. ok back to my question why why why do woman lie and tell you they love you

You are making an outrageous claim here. The next girl may love you more than her own life but have difficulty in relating this to you. Love is more than words. I find the eyes to be the window to the soul and that is where I run my tests.

It's same way that guys do. They do it to make their partner feel special. There is also another reason. Maybe they don't know what love is and they mistake infatuation with love. Later they find out that it's not love they had but just a real intense like. Love is not easy. It's hard to let oneself into it. Maybe it's also the fact that they want to get it over with before it becomes too intense and they can't control it and once they can't control it they're afraid that they might get hurt. To them, it's better not to even have the risk of hurt even if they have a chance at happiness. I would risk hurt, pain, anything to have a chance love because whatever love you got or gave for no matter the length of time is better than not having it at all. The same exact reason that MEN say the same thing and don't mean it.I hate to break it to you but men lie just as much as women.It is a fact of life.Also love is a word to many people that have no clue what it actually means.You are young grasshopper you have much to learn.

Well we get stuck in a place where we think we have to say it. Or what it could be is she thinks she is in love and turns out she isn't. But we think that we have to say it or else your are going to break up with us or something and we would rather wait to see if the feelings come.

She might have fallen out of love overnight;
if someone better came along
if you burned her
if you did not ramp up the relationship as she expected over time
If you did not tell her you loved her as much after she told you she loves you so much.
Most women that tell you they love you, do.

She seems very immature. Sounds to me like she was trying to talk herself into loving you. Also maybe in a twisted way she was trying to spare your feelings. All very immature behavior. I am sorry you had to go through that. Best of luck next time.
