Two reasons on why the are rejecting you after the initial interest.
1. You aren't the person they thought you would be. Lust impressions are sometime better than the real impression and
2. This person doesn't think you will like them if they are themselves.
Just ask this person what the deal is. The only thing that can happen is, you find out the truth and stop wasting your energy on this "problem".

Yes, we started talking on the computer, met a few times in person, seemed really interested, I bought him dinner, and then he totally disappeared. Sat there and rubbed my back, gave me a kiss good-bye, and said he'll talk to me later. Told me how sweet I was, yeah right.........Never heard from him again.

Yes, that is a sure sign of an immature person who was NOT ready for you nor did they deserve you. You don't need wishy washy love. Let them alone with their drama.

yes and that **** pissed me off soooo much....i talked to a girl from back home for over a month...she loved my pics and how i was....the first day i spent with her was perfect....i tried to kiss her and she blew me off and said she didnt want anything more than friends....which was a lie.
