Ask the other girl. See how much information he's willing to tell you about her. If it's over between him and her, ask him why it ended. Ask these questions, and if it seems like something that makes sense, then he's probably not lying. If your gut tells you he is...let him know you don't believe his answers. Ask him if there's any way he can prove it...

First you should leave the relationship at once. Not because of him, because of you. You will not give up until you find the answer you want, and that answer is he is cheating. You will not believe him when he says he isnt. So instead of droping it you just need to tell him to leave.
