Singles & Dating - 18 January 2007

i've been seeing this guy for about 2 months, however have only met him twice as we live 150 miles apart and both work, we speak every day and when we have met we get on really well but the last week he's been really distant, not calling/answering his phone, being quiet, which he isn't. Im a pessimist when it comes to men and immediate thoughts are he has a girlfriend/ex?? as we always meet half way so never been where he lives. anyone any other ideas??? i've asked him and he says nothing.

For example:

1. A close guy friend you're going out with suddenly pushes you gently on the wall, holds you close and tells you that he likes you and asks you if you feel the same.

2. A guy friend you're with suddenly grabs your and and pulls you out of the way of an oncoming car

Is this what you descibe as being swept off your feet, or is there more?

This is the problem i like this girl but i dont know if she likes me back
1)She just starts talking to me
2)she sais all these stuff about her personnel life like what bad things people did to her
3)she comes to talk to me or site next to me and just talks and laughs while i am around
4)she always sais hy then smiles even like if she wanted attention.Ok i heard that she was asked out to the school danse and she tells me this.does that mean she wanted for me to ask her. Ok I just started a new job, and so did this other lady...and I fancy the pants off her - She's gorgeous! She's also a lot older than me and has 2 kids. BUT...She's really into football, cricket & rugby...and she drives a 4x4 truck...I dunno, I get gay vibes from her but I don't wanna totally humiliate myself by mentioning it and ruining a perfectly nice friendship. I have been with my boyfriend for 1 year at the end of this month. We moved in together on the 29th Ocotber and I thought everyhting was ok. He has told me that he wants me to move out and go back to how it was when we lived at hom,e because it was more fun that way and how we will still be a couple but it will be more fun. I dont know what to say, If I move back I will feel like Ive got to climb back down the ladder than I have climbed up so far. He says If we dont go back to that then we will be over but I cant do it? What do you suggest I do or say?

My sort of Girl

Apart from what i am goin to tell you, she is just marvelous but she makes me angry when she gets cross over little things. Hope you dont laugh!

for example

1. She has been watching tv all the time and when i asked her to give me a chance to put my DVD in, she gets cross, throws the remote control at me and switches off the sets.

2. She went into the shower and came back quickly having finished showering. I noticed that she has not used a face cloth or something and she has been doing this for sometime. So i said to her, hey lady you havent showered can we go to shower. She gets cross for the whole night and day.

This is the kind of life i am living which to me i find it irritating. Do girls do this? Then its aweful.
Now tell me, does it mean i am not fair and dont know how to handle her? Be frank with me because i need a solution to this because its important to me.

38 years guy single & looking, I was introduced to a girl by a friend, we got to spend an evening out together at some classy restaurant.We parted saying that we must go out again soon. I think that she's a nice person "not really perfect , but neither am I".
Anyway, I called her on the same night and we talked for a few minutes. For the next 3 days I called her once a day to just talk small talk.She's very nice and very talkative over the phone as well. On each call , I suggest going out and she replies that she would be working late .I took it OK and suggested going out on the weekend as there would be no "working late".
Come today - Friday - "our weekend" , and I call her early and she tells me she has a family commitment that came up suddenly that would take all day " we both come from very -family first - environments".

Is she making this up just not to meet me again? Should I take this as a "go-away-please" clue?. Should I stop calling her and see if she would call me?.

so last week i was talking to this guy like everydays multiple times, bith him calling and me. well we went out on sunday, and he never called me. today i had to go into where he worked for something...i didnt know if he was working or not, and he was. i kind of yelled at him and was like why didnt you call me? i think that i should apologize but im not sure. any pointers? is there any way to save this once great friendship?!?

Ok let me start from the top. Between the times I was 13-15 ('98-'00), I met my first crush, she made an impact on me that lasted for months. It never really went anywhere due to the severity of my shyness at the time, just flirting back and forth, never went out on a date or anything, we gave each other presents for Christmas though. She never revealed to me or anyone else that she officially liked me more than a friend.

Then, in 2005, I was 20 and she was 18, I had her # from this list they gave out back in school. I was married, but I decided to call some old friends from back then, so I called her to say hi and how you were doing. She was very, very excited to hear from me and she actually confessed how much she liked me more than a friend back in the day. I told her about my marriage and she started joking around like "Nnnoooooo, you were supposed to get married to me!" But, I thought I'd do her a favor and ask if she'd be interested in a business opportunity that I knew of at the time. She said sure and so I asked if she'd like to come meet me for coffee around her neighborhood so I can tell her what it's about. So we set it up and she didnt come that day, I called the house and her brother said she wasnt in yet. So I figured maybe something happened or I don't know.

But now, two years later, I've been divorced for a few months now. I've been kinda thinking about her on and off every now and then, just that "what if" you know? Just to see how it would be if we were to go out and she can see the real me, not the shy me that she used to know. So I'm thinking about calling her or maybe waiting around her neighboorhood and act like I'm accidentally bumping into her or something. I think calling would be easier, but what would I say? I don't even know if it's a good idea. All I know is that I'm willing to risk it whether she has a boyfriend now or not, I don't care. I just want to know what would be the best way to go about doing this.
