For example:

1. A close guy friend you're going out with suddenly pushes you gently on the wall, holds you close and tells you that he likes you and asks you if you feel the same.

2. A guy friend you're with suddenly grabs your and and pulls you out of the way of an oncoming car

Is this what you descibe as being swept off your feet, or is there more?

yeah, of course there's a lot more but is this the kind of stuff you like seeing? (I base it all off dramas and books since girls tend to get all 'i wished that happened to me' when they see or read it)

Kind of, because of the unexpected and romanticness in the first one, and the unexpectedness and gentlemanliness in the second one, but neither of them describes the full picture of being swept off one's feet. To me, being swept off my feet would be more like, I was caught by surprise of how breath-taking he is (could be in his look/behaviour or what he said/did), and hence that is "being swept off my feet", totally caught by surprise and now "in the air".

Being swept off your feet is indescribable. Its more like your 1. choice. Something very romantic and something thats makes you lose your breathe thinking about it 5 years down the road. There is no way to describe it so I hope I helped a tad bit

I think if your head feels like its swimming in thoughts of him, and your heart doubles in speed when you think that you might catch a glimpse of him and when your all alone and you get a huge grin on your face, cause he s just ....... wonderful, funny, just, an asd . . but can't wait to see him again, THAT WOULD be swept off your feet. OTHERWISE I choose #!

no 2 sounds like "you're my hero!" but those 'hero' feelings won't last. they fade like last year's snowflakes.
