Ok I just started a new job, and so did this other lady...and I fancy the pants off her - She's gorgeous! She's also a lot older than me and has 2 kids. BUT...She's really into football, cricket & rugby...and she drives a 4x4 truck...I dunno, I get gay vibes from her but I don't wanna totally humiliate myself by mentioning it and ruining a perfectly nice friendship. But my tummy does flips when I see her and when she emails me. I don't know what to do?! Is she gay or am I just too hopeful?

You are not necessarily too hopeful, but you may be a bit overanxious. The "gay vibe" may be because she is gay and it may be just wishful thinking on your part. A lot of women like football and rugby, and a four-wheel-drive is also a fashion statement and could even be a leftover from a marriage gone sour. Give it a little time. If she is interested, she will probably show it. If she doesn't, there may be reasons why. In the meantime, friendship often leads to more intimate relationships.

lets this take it course don't ruin the friendship that's blooming and see where this goes, she maybe start talking about small things that you may have read or heard about that pertain to Gay issues, go very slow and becaus she drives a 4x4 and likes rugby and cricket doesn't have to mean she's gay check her out alittle more. just because a girl likes football and drives a truck doesnt make her gay, shes has two kids so maybe thats the heads up that she is/was straight, why dont you tell her that you're gay and see if she flips out on you or something that'll determine what she thinks of you

You should go for a kiss when you have a chance. Not at work but grab a drink with her and see where that leads to. It's always easier to communicate when you are both a little tipsy. Good luck

Just because she likes football and trucks doesn't mean she's a lesbian.
Try being her friend and see what happens. You soon find out if the feeling is mutual.
