If you were just told you won $500,000.00 - what would be the first thing you would do with your money?

I would invest a lump of it for my babies education (she is only 1 y/o now but its never too early to start)
I would make my family debt free.
Buy my Mom a small house.
and invest the rest.

I would donate it to starving and homeless people and animals first. My family knows me and how giving I am so they would understand. Then I would make a down payment for each of my kids on a house. 20,000 each. I would then Help my mother whatever way she needed. Then I would put money down on a house for myself or pay it off. And maybe buy a newer used car or a new one depending on how much it costs.

1. I would pay my bills off. (alot of them too)
2. Put $100,000,00 into a bank account to make interest on it. the interest i could live off for a few more years...
3. I would put $100.000.00 inot a account for my 6 week old daughter for when she turns 21...
4. buy a nice house.. not too big but not too small...
5. Buy myself a nice but simple car....
6. give $1000.000.000 too a charity.... there is no need to be so rich lol....

Second give 10% to charity
Third adopt 3 or 4 children
Fourth invest
Fifth go gambling with 200.00

pay off the mortgage to my house and buy another one in a warmer state. then a newer car. and a car for my daughter. this is the first thing I would do.

first I would get myself a good finacial advisor and give some to aiding edj. for girls in 3rd countires about birth control and thier rights.

then sit and think about what really needs to be paid then i would put some in accounts for the kids college
