My husband suggested that the reason why I ask him, "How do I look" when I put on an outfit is because he has good taste (he's terrible, actually). He actually thinks that all women ask for their husbands' opinions because men have good fashion sense. I think all women do this regardless of their husband's ability. Do you or know any women who never ask their husbands how they look in an outfit?

i work as a call center supervisore at a mobily provider. my shifts are from 13:00 to 23:00. i have a wife who who works at collage's HR from 08:00 to 16:00...
my life feals like hell cuz 90% of my lifs is at WORK and i cant even go out with her or even my friends.
i cant even buy a gift for her. so i need the best advice about this BIG ISSUE.

My husband and I are in the process of selling our house and moving out of town. I'm using this opportunity to purge old and unwanted things, to make the move easier and simplify my life. In going through my stuff, I have found old letters, photos, cards, etc. from ex boyfriends. I hate to throw this away, because I have fond memories of my past (even though I'm very happily married), however I'm not sure how appropriate it is to keep old cards from my exes saying how much they love me or photos of us when we were a couple. Do you think I should throw these things away or just hold on to it for the memories?

When I drink, I get slap happy... and today, I drank and I slapped him across his face. I don't know why I do it. Most of the time I'm just joking around... but now, he is threatening to get out of the relationship if I continue.

I'm female. He is a male. It's not like I severely hurt him and he IS stronger than me. I am in medical school, so he will need my income as well. What is his problem?

Before a date you have to go out of your way to look good and impress her.....like girls do

We have decided to have just a reception, and a small private wedding. But would it be weird for me to wear a party dress to the wedding?And take pictures in that dress? The wedding dress probably would end up in the back of the closet anyway. I still want to be able to have people determine who is the bride and who the bridesmaids are because we will still take pictures as if they were at the wedding ceremony. I want them to wear the same color, but it doesn't really have to be the same dress. Ladies your thoughts on this?

I'm a single parent and i'm really trying to get my life on track but it is so hard when i don't ever sit down. I can't go out as i pay a lot to daycare already, i work ten hour shifts so my kids live there I don't think that would be good anyways as my divorce is not final and i promised my husband i wouldn't cheat as he did me. Anyway i really need some relaxing ideas or me time ideas so i can recharge without feeling like i'm having a breakdown or going crazy. It's the same thing everyday.

A guy that I really like has been confusing the hell out of me. He knows I like him, but he wants to just be friends. We hang out sometimes, talk on the phone, and have sex, but I try to think of it as nothing more than what it is. Well today he was being very rude to me.....he was changing clothes today at work and he hands me his shirt and tells me to fold it, then he tells me to go get his bag for him like I'm his little B...tch. My friend told me not to do it because he's probably just testing me and he know I'll do it. I didn't mind doing it I just wish he asked nicely. Then before we left work he was like why you going home and then turn around come all the way back this was like he cared. Anyways I don't know howto take him, sometimes he's really nice, or rude, or doesn't even acknowledge I'm around. He knows I like him so is he just doing this b/c he know it pisses me off?

He also said it was a stupid idea,,way back,,if only they'd taught little boys to ALWAYS skin it back and WASH GOOD in that area. Recently, I became "reacquainted" with an old flame that I went to college with back in 00-04. We have known each other for over 6 six years now, but haven't spoken in well over 2. We had an argument about something that probably wasn't as serious as either of us made it out to be at the time. However, this argument caused us to break ties and I honestly thought that we would never speak again. Now, about 2 weeks ago, he contacted me out of the blue, we got together, went out, had a awesome night, told each other that we still feel the same as we did years ago, except now we actually have the chance to experience some type of relationship without hiding it from others. We are both single, recently split from the people who once kept us apart. When he left that next morning, I felt like something wonderful was about to take place, because we both shared we felt the same way. Now, after a little contact since that day, he hasn't called. What do I do w/o looking desperate?

My parents haven't always been like this, but it drives me crazy, I know this isn't right.

It's basically my dad. He makes my mom feel really bad..by always telling her what she is doing wrong, and making her feel stupid. They only get along when it's convenient for HIM.

Some may say it's just a mid-life crisis, but isn't that usually when the mother goes nuts? I feel so bad for her because she just tries to defend herself, and she looks miserable.

I was talking to her and she said that if they got a divorce, they would have to never see each other because he DOES love him, and it would hurt.

My dad isn't a bad person..he just grew up in a different culture and he does things differently. My mom tells me he was not like this when she first met him. He was always patient and happy. Now he is occasionally like that. He is VERY unreasonable and impatient.

They have been married about 20 years.

What can I do about this?

My daughter was dropped off for a visit with me on Oct28 2005 w/flat contusions red/purple in color over back &upper extremity as described by The University of Chicago Childrens Hospital I still have all the paper work from the incident Temp custody was given to me until the judge decided on the criminal case against the mother 9-16-05 an order of protection was ordered against the mother until 12-14-05 The mother was given parenting classes &supervision w/an older adult for 1year She moved 3x before the year was up at the end my baby not the mother was living w/her auntie& a convicted felon charged w/attempted murder in Lansing Illinois w/6other kids a total of 8people in a 2bedroom home. Just recently I have been able to see my baby again the 3rd time in 2yrs I have found that at age7 my child is barely readingShe is failing in school because of few reasons1happens to be her Auntie forgets to take her to school & her 8 or 9yr old cousin who lives there is signing her reading sheets

I have been in an on and off again realtionship with a guy for 4, going on 5 years now. We met in high school and he took me in when I was homeless. Seems like a nice guy huh? Well when I became pregnant with his child he kicked me out and the night I went into labor I walked myself to the hosptail. When I was being realeased and wondering where I was going to live with a newborn baby, he shows up and takes me in again. The abusive and controlling issues have never ended and its been the same way since day one. I have left before (even moved to another state) but I always go back to him when I become homeless. Now that I have found my father and I live with him I was to fully leave my abuser but I am not sure on how. Could anyone give me advice?
