Soul-mates can be someone you have know your whole life or someone you just meet. Everyone has a soul-mate somewhere. I have lots of Special Olympics friends. I don't know if I would call some my soul-mate. I have not meet a person that I can talk to about my feeling to. That's very hard for me. But I would say my mom and sister.
Love at first sight is another matter. I've had crushes on guys before but that's as far as it goes. But yes, love at first sight can happen. I'm letting God take care of it.

yes i believe in soul mates. to try and make short i made a friend on here that had tragedy in her life 8 years ago ,she young and i way older .we spent hours that ran into years on here and now she is married ,2 children and twins on the way .
we have never seen each other in person but share a love that is bonding . Not less then 5 min ago we wished each other a Happy New Year on here and still shared our words of love as forever soul mates .we couldn't to be together for Meany reasons but yet we will never part in friendship or in our hearts

No such thing as love at first sight. It's LUST at first sight.
I believe you can have many soulmates in your life. Look at when a spouse passes away, the spouse left behind can find a new mate and consider them a soulmate.
I often wonder if I hadn't have married my soulmate here, would I have married my soulmate if I lived in a town 2000 miles away.
I also have a girlfriend of 30 years that I consider my soulmate. She knows the real me better than my husband does.
Interesting question.

No I don't believe in love at first sight. When you first meet someone you have nothing to go on but there looks so to me it's lust at first sight.
I do believe that after you love someone you can become soulmates.

My grandparents fell in love and eloped and were married untill death. I had living proof in front of me growing up. I totally believe it.-Rachel.

Yeah I beleive in soul mates. But Love at first site I'm not sure but I think sometimes you do know right away if someone is the right one for you.
