She loves you..right? You love her. Right? Of course. Sometime down the road you will find another job which pays well and has daylight working hours which will closely match hers.

I can remember when my parents had to work separate shifts when I was little. What they did was to meet for lunch as often as possible. They laugh about it now and say aloud they were not quite sure how all of us kids came along! Then they really laugh loudly and smile at each other. Of course, we all know what they mean but it is funny to listen to them and hear the love in their voices and the laughter comes from their hearts.

Just be patient.. God will send you what is needed exactly when it is needed. Remember to laugh with real joy and relief and be glad the two of you belong to each other.

Write her lots of love letters. LOTS of them. Even if you think you are not such a great writer..write them anyway. That will keep her heart beating for you and yours for her.

You shouldn't have any trouble finding similar work at a company where the hours co-incide with your wife's. How can you ever make a life together when you are working different hours? Night shift is a disaster at the best of times (I do the same hours you do - similar work as well.) Unless your wife can change her job, you will have to change yours and yours are the worst hours so start searching...

write her love letters and leave them for her when she gets home. let her know she's always on u'r mind and that you miss spending time with her. let her know how much it hurts you to not be able to be with her as much as you want to.
