I asked my dad for some help because I've been struggling for funds and he told me he can't because things are tight for him as well. He advised me to ask my mom to help because he is still paying child suport for me.

I haven't lived my mom since I was 15. So, my mom has been getting child support for me for 7 years without me being there and when I asked for help she said no flat out. (we get along...honor thy mother..but don't have a relationship).

My dad said that by law, I can take her to court because I can prove that I've been living on my own and that she was not entitled to that money, but I wanted to see how valid that is.

FYI...I am only considering this because I am struggling and not at all out of spite. I do love my mom.

I am a full-time college student, and I work 18 hours a week. I have homework to do and don't get much sleep. Things feel like they are piling up and I don't know what to do to relieve some of the tension and stress. How can I relax? Or at least deal with everything.

I am 24 years old but as a result of my ex-partner leaving me with 3K of debt I had to move in with my mother, I do not like my mother, in fact I'd rather never see her again but my choices were limited at the time.

There are a lot of things from when I was younger that have taken away her right to call herself 'mum' but recently she has decided as my 'mum' she has the right to know all – to the point where I cannot go to the bathroom without her asking where I'm going.

When I was younger she used to beat me for no reason, often with high heeled shoes, I didn't think she would start this again as she has been okay with me for a long time, assumingly as she is now on antidepressants. Tonight however as soon as I got home she started verbal abuse, an argument ensued, concluding in her physically attacking me.

There is no way I can afford a place of my own, not even sure I could afford to share a place right now, what options do I have and how do I get help?

When you think this other girl is falling in love with your partner or vise versa. My partner says that I have no reason not to truth her b/c she have never gave me a reason not to. Supposeually they are related but its impossiable b/c this chick is russian and my girl isn't. I mean they both are adopted and all so I don't know but still ii've been so worried I've tried to talk to her and then she gets mad at me =( someone please help!!

MONEY !! .. im not rich im not poor. i have what i need not what i want. lately im surounded by rich friends. and whats when the problems started!! my friend wouldnt date someone like me!
thats for sure. she goes to a 30,000$ college per year.nice car
nice house. swining pool. it has a gym too. now the first thing would pop in ur head when u read that IS. money isnt everything love family etc is what matters. now i 100 % agree with u on that
but i dont have a loving family.(atleast that what it think) i dont get along with my dad lately. i dont really love my mom. etc
i dont have the love or the money!!
my gym needs 500 $, school needs 10,000$ .. english courses need 1500$ ,100 ticket POLICE! and alot alot more
unlike my friend. she has a one loving family. i mean it when i say it. she doesnt even have a lot of friends in college. most of her friends are her cousins!! the thing here IS : i might be looking for wealth for the rest of my life and i dont know if ill get it or not

So me and this girl used to be best friends until she started dating my brother, and that messed everything up. She is cheating on him with her ex, and I know its true, so thats why we dont get along.

Anyway, she is supposed to be coming over tonight with him, even though my parents know we are in a HUGE fight and are at eachothers throats, but they dont seem to care, and let her over anyway because they think I'm just making the things up about her cheating on my brother.

What should I do? Should I leave or stay here because it's MY house and make HER feel uncomfortable?

gave her abunch of funny gifts such a "jar of lighting" and a "zeus doll" and stuff like that as a joke and since she has NO sense of humor at all she got really upset and cried a lot and broke up with me. She has NO SENSE OF HUMOR. Her mom and dad even called me to tell me how "terrible" i am for that. Anyways is i paid $20 for that stuff i gave her and i never got it back. Is there anyway i can sue her for that money i spent?

Don't get me wrong or start judging me as being selfish, I support him-emotionally, finacially & physcially, I do help with the business as much as I can, I know that this business is his dream I understand it's hard on him & it takes ALOT from him, but ALL I ask for is 30 minutes a day-15 b4 work & 15 after, that's not alot, I don't even require seeing him as long as we TALK for those little 30 mintues a day, and I can't even get that, he knows we have a problem & apologizes for it, but yet doesn't do anything about it.

I've dated a man for almost seven years, and one year ago we had a child together. After she was born, we began to drift apart from lack of communication and many other things. A few months ago, he dumped me, dated another girl within a week. We both realized that we had made some mistakes and wanted to give it another shot, so he dumped her and we got back together. After 2 weeks, he realized he needed to get counseling in order to be in the relationship 100%, so we stopped dating again. 3 days ago, he told me that he had started having sex with the other girl after we broke up again and now she's pregnant. It is a fifty-fifty chance this is his child, for she's been known to sleep around. Now he doesn't know how to fix this and I don't know how to approach this. All I know is that I have loved him for seven years and I want to do what is best for my daughter...and if the other child is his, I want him to do right by that baby. What do you think I should do?

Can you forgive a person who in the past hurt you very deeply, who you tried to previously forgive and make amends, but at that time the person still was being hurtful to you, and now years later they want to apologize? I had someone very close that did some off things to me back in the day that I still feel very hurt over and now they are making all these attempts to locate me to apologize. I found out by friends and family this person is desperately trying to contact me, now they all now the situation and are only relaying messages from the person to me but not telling how to contact me. I person don't ever want anything to do with them ever again, but some say I should atleast give the person the chance to apologize since it bothers me still. I don't want to go there again because I tried that before and this person so called apology was flip around make is seem like I was the one who was wrong when believe I never did anything to this person. What would you do in this situation?

Hello im a mother of a college student,shes 18 yrs old and haveing alot of stress issues regarding full time student working full time and paying her rent truck etc... she went to the dr about a heart related issue and she asked to move home , my husband thinks she is just saying that and hes very jeoulse (cant spell ) any way im haveing a very difficult time pleasing everyone .By the way my daughter is not his.Hes makeing life missriable plese help any answeres??? I currently have a boyfriend that I am very satisfied with, and comfortable with our relationship. But I also have an ex boyfriend I find myself falling in love with. We ended slightly unfinished, and I didn't really know how to get rid of these feelings. I am a 34 year old man madly in love with a woman that is 25. We have been together for nearly 4 years now. Happy for the most part never unhappy. Everyone knew we where in love they said they could see it. The problem here is her family doesnt feel I am good enough for her and they have been shoving a wedge between us the whole time. Well that wedge finally split us apart. She got a good job in a town far from here and I thought we were moving together but found out differently. Her mother has a very strong control over parts of her life that she cant break free. even living hundreds of miles away We lived together for 2.5-3 years and I thought we would live together forever. She decided that she wanted to move alone and that was fine then the night before she left she told me she thought it should be over. that was thanksgiving night exactly two yrs after my dad died. BAD TIME! Gone now Im alone and nothingness set in. Why would someones mom be like this? She never gave me a chance.

Hi two months ago I was physically attacked(Don't worry he went to jail and registered as an offender, and I'm completely healed) at the dorms.

Anyway almost two years later, I find myself wanting to go in that room I was attacked in. An aquaintance of mine lives there but how do I get him to let me come in without telling him what happened and why I wanna be in there.
