Marriage & Divorce - 19 September 2006

I have been married for 5 years , my wife and i have had many problems . She was very possesive and jealous in the beginning . About a year a go we started going to a casino and lost around 30 thousand dollars . I got over gambling 6 month a go but she continued going until a month a go . Our sex life was almost non existent during this crazy gambling period. About 2 weeks a go i discovered she was cheating on me with another man . She has changed her apperance (new clothing , underware, perfum,) something she had forgotten due to the gambling addiction which took too much of her time . I am trying to work things out and nothing seems to work . She does not want to have sex with me, acts very cold , distant , critical . I am very sad and want her back since i still love her . Please help!

we have discussed it but he doesnt take it seriously. we live in my house and have done for a long time now. things have progressed to the point marriage is the sensible next step (we already act married and are a strong couple). also, i have a health problem which means i need to have children earlier rather than later. im worried if i wait for him this will never happen and have discussed this with him. i love him but dont want to give up on my dreams and regret it. we have been together 6 years and i thought wed be engaged or married by now. help! any suggestions how i convince him?!

"Cruel and inhuman" was the reasons. My friend pretty much supported her husband for over 6 years. He is disabled. But he has a mean jealous streak. Never hit her, but was very VERY verbally abusive. She couldn't take it anymore. So she asked for a seperation and he refused. He moved out. Now she gets filed for divorce papers... exactly the opposite of what she wanted to happen. She wanted to just split, seperate and be done with it like civilized people and now SHE is getting screwed! Any help would be greatly appreciated!
