More than likely, especially if she makes to much money. 'to much money' is determined by the state in which you live, usually anything over 19,000 a year...So yeah, you will probably lose it, maybe not all though.

Ummmmm depends.. im guessing if your spouse makes alot of money then yes they could very well be affected.. as with most disability benefits they go by total house hold income.. so u should get in touch with whomever u get your benefits through and ask them if it would be affected.. and if so whats the cut off limit financially for example, my sons SSI the cut of is 3000 total household income a month.. anything above that his benefits are taken away..

Disability has nothing to do with getting married...

Your disability has nothing to do with being married, you do not lose them. They are based on your earning potential and loss due to the disability.

all people are getting married , disable people need it more than others :) we're all human , there's nothing that stops you from being loved and getting married or having children :) life goes on

Your Social Security Disability check will allways remain untouched. But your Social Security Supplement check will lower or drop off depending on your spouce's income and your's combinded aftermarriage and they do consider disability income.(That's how it is in California)

I am not sure how this will affect your monthly benefits, but you know, it may just be worth it! Is your fiance able to help with your income that will be lost? I would be making some phone calls.

If you are worried about your benefits being cut because you want to get married, you are being pretty shallow don't you think?

If you are on SSD, your husbands pay won't effect your monthly check, but you will most likely lose your medical (though you should still have Medicare).

If you are on SSI, you will lose your medical and *might* lose a portion of your check depending on household income.
