I was a virgin when I was 19. I'm not ugly. I had no problems attracting guys, but when it came to sex I was terrified of getting pregnant or worse. I suppose that's what stopped me. I dated my boyfriend for a year before we had sex.
There's nothing wrong with being a virgin. Don't let peoples talk fool you. I had plenty of friends (boys and girls) that were virgins when they graduated high school.
I think it is a good thing to wait until your totally ready, physically, emotionally, etc. Sex is a big deal. If you haven't found that special person, don't worry. You'll find them when you stop looking soo hard.
19 may seem old to you now, but wait until your 40 and then worry about it.

I lost my virginity at 20 - to a guy who was 34. I'm now 28 and married. It's perfectly fine to wait. I felt at 20 that I was still too young for it (mentally) because I grew up quite quickly after that.

Yes, one of my best friends was a virgin until she was 20. I was very proud of her to keep her morals and values so high.

If this is you.. you are referring to, awesome. Now days too many girls give their selves away for no good reason... maybe a dead beat boyfriend, or getting a bad rep. I do know a few, and they are highly respected.
