What goes on in the bedroom between Christian couples is entirely upto them. Anything that makes the love between husband and wife grow is a good thing (within normal limits) so reading erotic stories is harmless as long as both partners don't fantasize about OTHER people while reading/doing it.

A true christian doesn't need stimulization from outside sources. They know that making love is a form of expression of love and no visual aid is needed. So, they can read erotic stories to each other, but they shouldn't. Don't confuse sex with love.

If they know how to read then they sure are able to. Should they is another question and that is the one they have to answer for themselves. Has nothing to do with being a Christian or anything else. I used to read that stuff but now it is all the same and there are so many things that are interesting to read, like some of these answers and questions.

Don't you think that it might lead to curiosity, and from there to experimentation? Most erotic texts are meant to excite not satiate and they tend to make people feel aroused by the exploits and the fantasies of real or imagined characters. It would be better to deal with each other's concepts rather unrealistic feelings achieved only by the magic of words.

Anytime religion interferes with something so benevolent as READING you have to ask yourself if the religion is worth following?

READING?!?!? Learning. Choice. What's next? Say 'Yes' to reading, learning and enjoyment and 'No' to anyone that makes you question doing something so basic as reading. Regardless of content we should be elated that people still want to read!
