and what can you do if you marry someone who later loses interest in sex. I'm looking for ways to escape from feeling like I'm just unattractive and unloved. I know that some people might recommend that I meet my wife at the front door wearing something sexy, but I really doubt that I could make that work since I'm a nearly 50 year old man.
I'm making it into a joke so I won't cry, but I really am in need of help.

Once you've been there and done that what things are you not going to put up with from the next person would you let your kids meet your date? I personally wouldn't unless I was serious but I know people who introduce their kids to everyone, can't understand that.

My wife is wonderful. She works a full time job and helps around the house alot. However, I work full time and go to school full time at night. I try to make her feel loved and appreciated all the time. I will do anything she asks of me. Even if it is bringing her dinner at her work after I have worked all day and gone to school or whatever. Most of my days are 14-15 hours away from home (minimum), plus homework. She only works a max of 35 hours per week. I love a clean house and she has a hard time getting motivated to clean and then she bats her eyes and tells me how much she loves me so I will not get upset. But sometimes I still do. I understand she works and we have talked and she knows how I feel, but sometimes she still does not "need" it as clean as I do and does not want to work on getting it clean. What can I do?

On one episode of Friends, Monica said to Chandler (While he was away working) that a new guy at work was the funniest man she ever met. Chandler told her he was flying back home. The other people told Monica that "Being Funny" was Chandler's thing and she can't think of anyone else as being better at Chandler's one thing. What is your one thing?

I see so many crazy questions on this site. Is it OK to cheat if your partner knows? Is it OK to cheat if you are separated? Is it cheating if it was not penetration? Is it cheating if it is with an ex-boy.girlfriend? Is it OK to have an affair if you are not getting sex? Is it OK to cheat if you do not love your spouse.......

Marriage is a vow to GOD and to each other. We(people) can not change the vow after the fact. We can not change the rules that God has established. We may be OK with some of this stuff but do you really think GOD will be like, "That's cool...they had an agreement". I just don't get it. We all should work it out with our spouse. It is a lifelong committment. In fact, the only way out according to the bible is if one commits adultery. It seems many on this site are giving their spouse that way out.

My wife won't let me back in and I have found a "nice" looking recovered alcoholic, she's an ex-tennis player with a "great body. She has kids and has transitioned her herself out of a full rehab recently. I showed up one nite drunk and she flipped out and said I needed help, prior to that "we" had plans. She has invited me over many times after but only after she made me "pay" be at least 7-10 days.I know she is concerned withmy recovery but shouldn't she be pulling me closer if she likes me?Also she just started a job and she NOW gets to see her kids.My wife won't let me talk to her or my kidand didn't press charges on me but I think she wants to "hurt" me in court for a few things I did ,even though I aways let her back she won't let me. I am going to AA but want "SOMETHING" THERE for me at nite forever and when ever....and ever amen.

The thing is, I haven't got the nerve to tell him the truth. I'm afraid he might get mad at me and leave me. But its really bothering me, I know I should have been honest with him in the first place. I know that for relationships to flourish there shouldn't be any secrets between partners. I don't know how he'd react if he finds out. Do you think 4 years is too much? And does age really matter? I really love this guy and we've been talking about getting married in the future. Will the truth affect the relationship and our plans? In our society, is it acceptable nowadays for the girl to be older? Please help!

It seems that anything that bases the custody of children using anything other than which parent is actually the best parent would be considered sexist.

I got a credit card in his name. He is over 30 and never establised credit. He is in Prison now, lay low on the extra comments, and I asked him and he said ok if it will help me get out of financial bind. I'd ofcourse not screw it up like I did mine so many years ago but I'm trying to fix it and I need help. I'd keep up with the payments and wouldn't be easier for us to buy a house if he has established credit and I keep it GOOD and in good standing? Is this a bad idea?

How would you deal with someone who routinely ignores you, tunes you out, disregards what's important to you (because it's unimportant to him)?

I'm well-aware that all of us have much too much on on plates (and minds), and I don't expect people to hang onto my every word or deed, but it is so hurtful to me when things I say are clearly tuned out. I stop speaking mid-sentence to see if he's really listening; he has never, ever noticed.

Yes, I've tried many, many times to sensitize him by telling him how hurtful it is to me. He apologizes -- genuinely seems contrite -- but unfailingly repeats the insulting, demeaning behavior.

I'm sick of the I'm-sorries, sick from being ignored, and just don't know what to do.
