I know his name, and that he was assigned to Fort Rucker, AL, performing my marriage in 1986.

Okay, 20 years later he's going to be retired. Your best bet is to put his name into the white pages online, or classmates.com has a military section. Good luck!

Start by contacting Fort Rucker and asking for him.
If hes not there anymore, ask if they can tell you where he got transfered to.
If you know his name go to whitepages.com and type it in you might get a lot of listings and you will just have to go through them all till you find him.

What was his name? Some of us could look him up in the Army white pages.

Have you contacted the base ?? They should be able to tell you where he is stationed or if he is retired, then they probably have information of where his pension is going -- that is if he is getting one. I would try that first
