Friends - September 2007

We had our annual church picnic the other day. It was going good for a while. Then this guy Joe showed up. He's 3 years older than I am, went to high school with him. he's a "member" of our church, but never does anything. We do not like each other. He started problems with me and my 7 year old sister. I was the bigger man. I held my sister's hand and walked away. He pulled me on the shoulder and said don't turn away from him. I told him I want no problems and that to let go of me. Instead, he called me vulgar names and I tried to walk away. He grabbed me by the throat and started to choke me. I know some self-defense. I wasn't going to be choked out. I grabbed his pinkies, bent them backwards, and broke them. I then kneed him in the nuts and grabbed my sister and went to my parents. the members of our church are FURIOUS! I explained to them what I did was within MY right to safety. They said I should've waited for an "adult" to show up (i'm 20) and handle the situation.

my friend and I were tighter than tight. weve done "stuff" ive never done with anyone else...before i realised she was going out with this guy...and from there everything changed .
I treated her as a priority while she treated me as an option.

She says she still wants to be friends but alot of damage has been done, i realised she slept with ma brother, and now that she and i are not close like before, she spends time with another brother of mine, not the one she slept with.....well I love her as a friend ...i wana move on without her but i dont know how to do that coz she says she wants us to be best friends again....but the trust I had for her is no longer there.

She is a nice person but the things she does do not add up...i wonder why she hurts me if she really loves me...i wonder why I had to find out from other people that she had a boyfriend coz she dint tell me....she only admitted when i told her i know about it.
what do i do??

My friend some times scratch my back for no reason, i mean i dont ask her to do it but she puts her hand on my back and scratch it. why is she doing that? i ask her and she said "i am just scratching your back" what answer is that?

How will I avoid to be acused of getting sides. How will I resolve the conflict and bring back the good relationship we had. How will I going to explain to them that I am sincere and hopeful to restore the disturbed relationship and be united again. In my previous job, I was not able to handle things, I chose to resign and resent all the bad things happened between us. I do not want that to happen again.. Pls.. help..

okay, first of all i don't want any stupid answers, i want serious answers only. I've had this girl friend (not girlfriend) who was a family friend of mine which i've known for five years. I thought i knew her really well, but apparently not. i feel a little shocked about what i found out about her on the internet; i'll never be able to look at her in the same way. I don't know what to do because i feel responsible for her well being, and it seems like she has no support from anyone and she always makes harmful choices. I don't know how to deal with this. I don't want to confront her, because she'll probably start to cry. please help!

I know it's kinda stupid question, but maybe when I explain more you gonna understand what I mean. so here we go.
I am kinda shy guy, but also I like parties too, every weekend I have party with many friends.
I usually drink and talk to people and laugh,
I don't dance I don't do crazy things.
when I come to a house party, while girls and boys are dancing sometimes they stop dancing, or when I get into a room which has many girls and boys doing crazy thing, they immediatly stop it.
I feel really bad when people do like this because of me.
I don't know why they do like this, is it because I don't do the same what they do, or because they have something else and they don't want me to join them.
this case not only on parties sometimes it happens anywhere else.
I feel people observe me more than others, and then they don't act like normal. and it's obvious with people who I meet them first time(new people)

A friend of mine decided she wants to do drugs and apparently now has and continues to do so, I am personally quite opposed to illegal drugs and I don't want to be associated with a druggy, I told her I didn't want to be friends with someone who does drugs and she said then leave to which I did. and i went away for part of it. so i came back and things felt akward. like i dont know what happened! before i left though me and this friends got into a huge fight. epic you could say the entire school heard about it (kinda embarssing) so they hung out with her while i was gone. and i am perfectly fine with that they could hang outwith who ever they want. but latly things are werider than usual. 2 weeks ago me and my friends were on my bus. what was strange is that the other girls in my "group" were on our bus and they normally aren't and i figure out that they are going over one of my friends houses and im not invited obviously. so i figure that my closest friend out of all them will get off at our stop with me as per usual but she doesnt. just just kinda gives me that "im sorry look" i kinda brushed it off like whatever. but then right before the weekend i asked the same friend if she wanted to hang out after school and she told me that she couldnt. but.....

I have been out of my old relationship for about a year and some months now but I can't seem to give my new man the benefit of the doubt. We have been together for 8 months. First of all let me say that I am a few years older than my male friend I am 28 and he will be 21 in October of this year but he is very mature for his age and that's why when we first met I thought he was older. I keep feeling like I need to let him go because of the age difference I have lived my life and he has barely seen his. At his age he has already helped me get my own place he has gotten my car fixed and does so many wonderful things for me. I have never heard of him cheating on me like my ex did and he is very respectful out in public he makes me feel like I am the only woman in his eyes. I just keep waiting for the day when things will change and I will get my heart broken and he will find someone younger and prettier. I must admit my last relationship left me with no self confidence. What to do?

I feel I am being taken advantage of by some "friends " when they do a favor for me. I never charge my friends when I do favors for them. I give free haircuts and let friends use some of my things. I wouldn't dream of charging friends, but some people do What do you think? Am I being taken advantage of ?

Hi.uh.. sorry for asking this..this was just the only anonymous place i could think of asking a question. I really need advice..
I have this friend, hes 15, he gets bullied a lot in school, he doesnt come from a very nice family, alot of his family are in and out of prison and theyre really poor, this doesnt matter to me but, theres a group of guys at our school who pick on him because of this. there older then him/us. hes stopped coming to school recently.. and i got called into the office to talk to my principle about where he was, and when i last saw him, i just thought he was ill so i hadn't bothered tryin to contact him until then. i didnt tell my parents about that when i got home. i wanted to speak to him though, before the school got a truancy officer involved. so i saw him this weekend.when i spoke to him finally, we talked for ages, and he told me that he got raped by these boys last week. he trusts me to not say anythin to any1. i read male rapes not illegal. can sum1 help
