if your only group of friends start hanging out with people you dont like and seem to never bother coming out to see you? and they appear to be sidelining you?

Today i went to the all with my two best friends and one of my new friends. The second we got there my two best friends sleft me and my newer friend. i feel bad. the new girl isnt friends with them and they dont really like her. but this isnt the first time this has happeed (probably happened like 10 times before this) i feel like im drifting away from my friends. what should i do?

I have this friend, she is my age, and i've know her since i was like 3,(i'm now 16) She and i were really close up until we were about 10, our parents were friends and we would go to each other houses, and im pretty sure we had a crush on each other, since then we havent been that close, but we talk in class, all the time, and she laughs at my jokes, and sort of sits by me in class, though just enough not to seem like it, she mentions are past sometime, and she will touch my arm sometimes, and gives me a hard time on things as do i, we dont really talk outside class, but i think that is because i dont try enough, i am also sort of friends with her friends. What do you think Thanks

At my skool I have to wear uniform and it is sooooo just not me....how do I like make it my own and accesorize. Because just getting up every morning and putting on a collared polo and sum khaki pants is pretty boring....I want to look different from everybody else....so can you please tell me what to do to make my uniform different than everybody elses!?!?!?!?! I went to see my hairdresser today, I love her to death she's the sweetest person. Afterwards we were standing around and catching up when her very angry husband came in and demanded that we leave. I wasn't sure what to do so I went and sat in my truck. During that time I saw him drag her out of the salon, slam her into a wall, slap her, and hit her a few times. i wanted to say something to stop this but i was unsure of what would happen. I'm 5'6" and this guy is 6'2" HUGE guy. We were also in a known "lower class" neighborhood. I was getting looks just being at the salon....... I feel so bad. I wish I had done something, but other than getting my face bashed in, what could I have done? What would you do (realistically).

Well, I wanted to see how you feel about that person, because I know that when I care about someone I can be clingy and I think maybe people dont like that, but I when back off, we grow apart. So yeah is being clingy a bad thing?

I am 16, and have only one friend my age. Only of my best friends are from 26-45. It's hard for me to really get along with anyone my age, and the same goes for my friend who is also 16.
My dad says that all my older friends are perverted, whether male or female or how we became friends.
2 have been schoold teachers, and the others I've met through work or just around town, and they have all helped me to make wiser choices, but it's like my dad doesn't care about that.
He only like me being around my 16 year old friend.
Is it really wrong for me to have friends a whole lot older than I am? I don't try to just have older friends, I give everyone and anyone a chance, but I get so bored and annoyed with people my age.
I don't think there's anything wrong with that...but am I wrong? Is dad right?

I am in need of some really good advice. I need some venting and someone to help me look outside my box called life. I have had some major life changes and some really hard changes. I am hanging in there but need someone or people for some support. I really dont need any jokers or anyone that is going to crack on my issues.
If you know of a site or a mesage board that is free with good honest people then please share this with me.

ok, my friend invited me to a festival tonight that was being thrown by her church, and it's at one of the church members' house. Tons of people would be there and there would chaperones. Plus all my friends. when i show her the flyer, she's all like what church is this? im like, idk? she's like " i dont want you going to some cult thing." i'm like, mom, it's not a cult! it's a christain church! Were christain so idk what the big deal is. Then i had to tell my freinds that i couldnt go cuz my mother's a phsyco. So my friend offered to sleepover at her house with my other friend that my mom has met before. So i ask if i can do that, and she's lke, inever met those ppl b 4. i'm like, well you'll meet them and make sure everything's ok. But she refuses!


i didn't do anything to upset her b4 this. She is totally crossing the line here. idont wanna be sitting here on yahoo answers on a saturday night. BTW in 13. what do i do?

i have been friends with misty since we were in the 6th grade. we are juniors now, and last year she started dating some guy named dale. As soon as they started dating she dropped weight, but i know for a fact there was no eating disorder. She also stopped caring about hanging out with me, and she stopped caring about her future. She used to want to go into marine biology, but dale thinks its a bad idea, so she doesnt want to anymore. Now her goals are to marry him and live "happily ever after"
they have only been dating for 6 months. Im not jealous, ive been dating my boyfriend for a few years now, but the thing is dale treats misty like she is inferior, and it racks my every last nerve.
his dad beats him, so i understand why she is clingy to him, but the clingyness is excessive, and she is blind to the way that he talks crap about her behind her back, saying she is really mean to him.
we go to diff schools, and she ignores me when we see eachother. what can i do?

My friends and I are really frustrated with each other.My friend and her bf are sort of the cause of all of this though.We invite her to the football games to sit with us.And she does till her bf comes over.Then they sit with us for like 5 more minutes, but she just talks 2 him.Then they go walk off on their own doing God knows what.She doesn't even tell us that she's going she just ditches us.So then me and my other friends are stuck wondering where she is, and we call her, but she doesn't ever hear her phone cuz she is very hard of hearing sometimes.I dont understand y both of them can't hang with us.I think he is trying to hide something.I tried to talk 2 him alone last night to try and straighten this mess out, but people kept coming over and interrupting and Im more confused then I was b4.He says we always get to hang with her and they need their time, but thats only partially true.I only hav a few classes with her and its rare all of us friends get 2 hang with each other.Watsup??

I know a couple people, online and in "real life", that constantly says one thing about others in private, yet the complete opposite in public. For example, they will complain in private about how pathetic and what idiots certain people are, yet publicly they talk about what wonderful friends they are. Or privately telling someone that they hate and dispise their spouse, while publicly gushing about how they are so much in love and that the spouse is their soulmate, etc... I can certainly understand someone venting now and then. However, when its simple venting, at some point in time they would also speak positively. That is not the case I am speaking of. So how much of that inconsistancy would it take before you felt you could not trust them?
