Simply enter as much information about your friend into your favorite search engine.

For example, "Jane Doe Acme Company New York" without the quotes. In this case, you're looking for "Jane Doe" who works at the "Acme Company" in "New York". Obviously, this may return lots of results having nothing to do with your friend, so try to add more terms to narrow down the search, and, of course, common sense to eliminate the "Jane Does" you don't know!

Avoid using numbers and common words, like "the" or "street", etc, etc, etc.

Some folks might think this will only find people who have their own website, but it will also return results from newspapers, marathon results, elections, obituaries, and anything else with which the given person may have been involved, sometimes without their even being aware of it! (now you know why internet privacy is such an issue!)

Good luck!
