Try Bengay or any other liniment. If you haven't gone to the doctor, please do it ASAP. You may have an injury that needs medical attention.

First of all, did you see a doctor to make sure you don't have whiplash or other serious injury's? If not you should! I don't know your age but things like this left unattended can come back on you as you grow older, Arthritis etc.
But as far as the pain, I went through a back injury and I found a good hot bath or shower helped, then when you lay down put pillows between your knees and keep them bent, fetal position.
And pay close attention, if it hurts, DON'T do it !
Good Luck with this and remember, it does take time to heal, so be patience :-)

Your doctor should have recommended a chiropractor to you. In cases in which difficulties can be traced to the involvement of musculoskeletal structures, chiropractors manually adjust the spinal column. Some chiropractors use water, light, massage, ultrasound, electric, acupuncture, and heat therapy. They also may apply supports such as straps, tapes, and braces. Chiropractors counsel patients about wellness concepts such as nutrition, exercise, changes in lifestyle, and stress management, but do not prescribe drugs or perform surgery.

Some chiropractors specialize in sports injuries, neurology, orthopedics, pediatrics, nutrition, internal disorders, or diagnostic imaging.

If you are still in this kind of pain, you need help. Your doctor might also recommend a pain center control organization for you as well. There are some people who have even entrusted the Art of Chinese Acupuncture, and other holistic methods of recovery from pain and injury.

Get help. Extensive pain has been proven to exaserbate other health issues (blood pressure, heart, etc.)

How long has it been? Did your doctor give you a guideline as to how long until you start to feel less pain? If you don't fel your doctor is giving you good care, call your insurance and see what you can do. Maybe you can get referred to a specialist or if you have a PPO go get another opinion, and maybe some meds that work better.

Perhaps a warm soak in Epson Salt and a heat pad may help. Also, a visit to a chiropractor may ease the pain.

see a chiropracter, he could probably help the most, my mom was in an accident 6 years ago, she went to an orthopedic surgeon who ended up putting a plate in her neck and she hasn't been the same sice, he made her worse off then she would have been had she gone to the chiropracter, she is now scheduled to have surgery to fix the botched first one. Please see a chiroprater before you have surgery, he could fix you right up. Good Luck and God Bless you!

Look online for all natural cures, or essential oils.

I personally do not take aspirins, or any prescriptions, but if you are in major pain, prob should.

Best of luck to you.
