Family - March 2007

Ok i am 12 years old. I am ready to leave my house because my sister treats everyone in the family like crap and she has been told and it still doesn't do any good. My brother has been acting like a little girl and i am tired of always getting in trouble because of my sister. I seriously have a bag packed and it is sitting by the front door. I have been crying because i don't want to leave but i am very tempted to. Please tell me what to do and please give me a serious answer. What would you do and what should i do

I have had an argument with my son and he has stopped me from seeing my grandkids but the worst part of all is they live next door and if the children speak to me they get in trouble. I have always been close to my grandchildren and it is tearing me apart . Please can somebody help me in what to do as i know my grandchildren want to see me.

hi! my sister broke up with her 4yr old BF yesterday, they said they needed to take some time off bcause they wanted to settled down some differences, i think they'd reach an arguing for everything phase, they said they love each other and will still be friends,i don't if they'll be back, but one thing i know is that my sister is very sad and i don't know how to help her. her BF is my best friend and like a brother to me, my sis and i are very close; can you give me an advice on how to help my sister with her break up? thanks

I'm 28 and I'm dating a 35-yr-old divorced guy. The problem I'm having is with his family. After the divorce my boyfriend went back to live with his mom's house which besides his mom, his younger brother & his wife live there as well. Last Dec my boyfriend asked me to move in with him, so I did. But his brother & his wife treat me as if I'm intruding their lives. I know they live there, but it's his mom's house, not theirs, and as long as my boyfriend & his mom say it's ok, I don't think it's none of their business. They're planning to move out asap and they say it's because they don't like having two families living under one roof. Am I wrong to move in there or is it none of their business and they have no right to be upset at me? They told the mother that it's because we're not married yet, but I think it's because they don't like me moving in to the house. If my boyfriend lives alone, I don't think they care.

My mother passed away not long ago after a being ill for a long time. I'm an adult woman, & the youngest of 4 sibs. My sibs & I are in a dispute whether I'm responsible for funeral costs. They're much older than me and far better off financially. I feel my sibs turned their back on me when I was a teen & needed them desperately. My dad died when I was 15 & our mom was bi-polar. Times were hard for mom & I & the roles were reversed. I worked to buy the goceries & keep the lights on while my sibs, who were adults in their early 30's at the time were busy w/ their own lives. I contintued to contribute to support mom throughout my 20's even though she stole a credit crd fr me and ran up a huge debt. My sibs never helped me, although one is wealthy, & avoided what was really going on. I feel that I towed the line on my own in the past & they are much better off, they should takemy 1/4. It's not that I didn't love mom, it's just that my sibs were never there when we both needed them.

ever since yesterday my mom just turned totally over protective. I have a good idea why though. My dad had to go to another state for a week to build our new house. When he left- let me just say, it was complete HELL. My mom made me take care of the dogs, clean, cook EVERYTHING! my older sister has a friend and she must of gave him my screen name online so yesterday he was talking to me. He really freked me out... because he said he was my sis's boyfriend and he seen her naked. I had to tell my mom. Ever since that, my mom wanted to se my profile on AIM and everything... now she wants a screen name and it's really annoying. She has been watching me like a hawk when I talk to my friends and shes really getting on my last nerve. I know she is just trying to protect me but what can i say to her that will back her off? I'm not a bad person!

My great aunt passed away this morning and I've never met her and I was going to the nursing home with my mother when my mom called my great aunt's daughter who told us not to come because she passed. I fekt no tears i didn't know this woman but I feel regret and loss and I don't know why. This great aunt's other daughters have photos of "Mommy"(my mother's mother) that they threaten to destroy and I hope they don't and mayeb thats why i feel a loss, a loss of hopelessness. Anybody ever feel like this, it bugs me. I feel like I missed out on something especially since I grumbled about waking up early to see a woman who was going to keef over. I maybe feel regretful because I insulted her?

My little sister is a 25 year old single mother who pretends she does not have responsibilities. she recently moved back into my parents house who already has my brother, wife and his children there (he pays the bills). she sleeps on their sofa while my two nieces sleep on the floor. she says she goes to work at 7am therefore it's my sister-in-law or mother that gets my nieces ready for school and drops them off; but she comes home after midnight high and smelling of weed or sometimes not at all, so my mother or sister-in-law are the ones making sure that their homework is done, they're fed, bathed etc.. my sister does not help out with home expenses cuz according to her she is always broke which is odd cuz she swears she is always at work. when she is at home she is always yelling at her children or asleep on the sofa. Their father is in jail and also a pot-head. As kids we did not have the best home environment which makes me worry cuz i love them and they deserve better.

hello guys :-)) I need to know some of your imagination....but i need imagination that works for reality... Umm so this is the situation of a mother that when the daughter is away she talks against her with her son and when the son is away she talks against her son with her daughter. How can the son spy on the mother and daughter with some type of technology to hear and record them. The son has no camera and no tape recorder but a computer in the room where the back-stabbing take place!! Please do help...situation is getting worse and the son needs some type of evidence...

When I first met my boyfriend (now baby's dad) I wore kinda hoochish clothes. Just a little belly showing and lots of tank tops and v-neck shirts. After the first few months of being together I became pregnant with our son. (I found out a little while after our son was born that he did it on purpose) After then he totally changed everything about me I was forced to dress (no offense to anyone) like a 50 year old bag lady. He snipped all of my thongs. He told me I couldn't talk to any of my friends. I could talk to family over the phone and they could come visit me but I couldn't go anywhere with them. In fact I couldn't go anywhere without him period. I stayed at home while he went out with his family and friends. He was verbally abusive always calling me names and telling me that I was nothing and that I was useless without him...continued

He can't hold a job, has no friends, plays little kids games constantly, sits in his room alone all day every day, and insists that he is normal. We have given him every option available, but he refuses to do anything. If we kick him out of the house he just finds a way to get put in jail for a place to stay.
Because he is a minor our hands are tied to get him help. What can I do???

when i was in school there was a girl who always use to abuse me. she made my use to make a friend she like . she used me to such a extend that i started fearing from her . earlier i was very punctual in the class . i use to reach school even before time when no one has arrived .bcoz of her i started missing my auto and daily going late to the school. for that i daily use to get scholding from my father . in college also i have been treated like animal by every student . after finishing my graduation also i dint got any relaxtion and my past followed me to abuse me everywhere . yesterday when i was very happy that i got a job finally my mother started fighting with my father and with any reason started blaming me. i wanted to give happiness to my mother but she thinks something else .for whom i should earn...............and live for............just for poors

My father married a woman from the Philipenes Oct 2005. She finally got to move to America and live here. On Satuday, all of my family is throwing her a party. I don't know what kind of party you would call it so I will call it a 'Welcome to America' party. Eveyone is getting gifts for her. I live 1,500 miles away and even though I cannot go, I would still like to send a gift. I am at a loss at what to get. My dad said to just send a gift card, but I would like some better gift ideas. I know she likes cross stitching and will have a lot of time on her hands until she can get a job here. I don't think buying her a cross stitching pattern would be good because I don't know If they are the same in the Philipenes as what we have her in our stores( as in the directions and the termanology and such) Any help is appreciated. My mom is a single parent. my twin sister and i both go to expensive colleges in boston, between us its probably 40,000 a year. anyways. I don't really know how much my mom makes, she was a practicing dentist but now she works for NYS gov't. I feel bad because I could have just gone to a public school but she insisted I go where i really wanted. I have felt really bad about it since I think its tough for her.

she just brought a new car. its a trailblazer (who knows why a mom living alone needs that). nothing was really wrong with her old car so i felt good, because i figured that must mean she is doing alright

anyways i am home for spring break/my birthday. i heard her on the phone with my aunt this morning talking and sounding alittle depressed about something to do with money. and she didn't give me a birthday present, and said she would put some money in my account next week. i don't care about that. but thats not like her; I feel like she just didn't have the money!
