My MIL and FIL have moved in with my FIL mother. My in laws have totally redone the entire house because it was not good enough for them. They made a three bedroom into a two bedroom so they could have a bedroom that was huge. My MIL has totally redecorated(not tastefully either) the enitre house. There is nothing but the living room set left that was there before. SO, the other day my MIL says she is keeping all the reciepts so that when Gram dies, she can get her money back. Are you kidding me? Can she legally do this, make the other family members repay her for the updates out of their inheritance when they sell the house? They're pieces of work let me tell you. But legally, do they have a leg to stand on? It seems like if they live there for free, there should be no repayment. These were updates THEY wanted to do, not required for Gram. By the way, the told the famiy Gram needed them to be with her, which is a bunch of BS. She's very mobile and idependant.

Would it upset you, if you found out that your birthmother was promised an open adoption, your adopted parents divorced 6 months after you were adopted, cut the birthmother out completely along with a half-brother and the birthmother had sent you gifts, cards and tried to call only to have everything sent back, thrown away and have the cops called on her for harrassment?

How would you deal with that, would it matter if you knew she always loved you, wanted to be there for you, but was just too poor (at the time) to give you what she thought you deserved but still wanted to be a part of your life and know you were okay until the day you could meet?

My husband is adopted and we are dealing with a lot of stuff right now. ANY input would be awesome.

My seven-year-old son attends a private Christian school. One of his classmates, a gypsy (yes, a gypsy in a Christian school), is way too friendly with him. My son seems to enjoy her company (too much... he's too young to have a "girlfriend"). I'm not concerned what anyone might think about my being a Christian and judging this young lady - she is a gypsy and gypsies will not be a part of our family. Her mother is sort of crazy, too... I don't know how to explain it - she's just weird.

So, how do I get this young lady to stop being so friendly with my son?

What could I say to her mother to essentially negate this "relationship"?

I heard Jack Black, Nacho, and Darius A. Rose, Chancho, were the only two non-hispanics in the movie. Someone told me the little boy was white and middle eastern.
What do you think about this?

I'm doing some geneaology research and I remember that my mother used to get invited to a big "Patrick Clan" reunion in Cincinati, OH and they used to send her literature with lots of geneaology information, even though her name isn't Patrick. I've been searching on the web, trying to track down that reunion, but with no luck. Maybe something is wrong with what I'm remembering (?). Do you know anything about a reunion like this? My mother is from Eastern KY, by the way.

You know, I was thinking about the frontier life of America and the one room log cabins they had. The whole family slept together in the same room, and I figure that is a great way to bond. I have 2 teenager daughters and an 11 year old son and a 39 year old wife. Do you think I this would be a good idea if I told them we should all start sleeping in the den for the rest of the winter? I could pull out some cots or some airmatresses, start a fire in the fireplace. Have the dog sleep with us too. Wouldn't that be a cool idea?

Help!! Our boy sneaks into our bed late at night when we are sleeping. Most of the time we don't even know he is there until the alarm goes off in the morning. He will be 3 in January and we've talked to him about it but it is like he is on auto pilot when he wakes in the night. Short of duct taping him to his bed, how can we break him of this?

January 6th, 2007 will be 2 years. But it still feels like yesterday. I wasn't with her when she died, and wasn't able to be at the funeral. What do I do? How do I grieve? Also, my dad just remarried last month. How the heck do I deal with that? (I'm 23, female)

I see so many people asking the same questions. And they all seem to be young people.
More then half the questions on here are about "i like this guy/girl what do i do","how can you tell if someone likes you","what do you do if you like someone and they don't like you".
This to me gets alittle old,and takes up alot of room.

Here's my question,do you think they should have a Yahooligans answers?

The way I see it, her being a girl and all it would be better for her to clean up my son's room. I think it will give her good experience and a good work ethic for when she has to clean her own kids room someday. Besides my son is only 11 now and she's been doing it now for years. Well, my buddy at work found out about this and he says its really wrong what i am doing. Well, I just have to disagree - for one I bought a car for my daughter and my son only gets 5 dollars a week allowance. However, that really doesn't even matter that much because the fact is, she is a girl and he is a boy and I figure a couple more years and he can mow the lawn. I never made my daughter do that. Oh yeah, my daughter also makes him snacks or dinner sometimes if mom isn't home and my buddy thinks that is messed up too. I guess I feel that a woman should be doing a woman's job. Am I wrong here?
